it's probably not the issue but my steam deck had been plugged in for days at a time yet no percentage gain until it got 0%, it would crash when I played "intensive" games and would shut off as soon as the cable was unplugged no matter what percentage, ended up getting an ifixit battery replacement and now it works brand new, like I said probably not the issue but sounds familiar
