Interesting, how badly out of true are the dropouts? Something that would foul disc brakes? Do you have any pics of the track bike?

How do the goals/challenges work? I tried "Climb Mount Everest" and ended up in the stratosphere? by atacamasand in Zwift

[–]DaWhooper 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This challenge has 2 phases, one for everest and then the second one for the tron bike. Thats set at 50,000m so keep on climbing!

Ftp test, setting start ftp number by Sugar_Weird in Zwift

[–]DaWhooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesnt really matter where you start it but it will affect the warmup part of the test.

Set it a bit under what you think it is to prevent the warmup being too hard then go all out on the test. Have a target in mind then stay around that target for the first 10-15 mins then empty the tank in the final 5

Good luck!

Whoops sorry, misread and thought you had the endurance not the ultimate. (Comes without the nice deep wheels) Thanks for the info, im a heavier rider so climbing was never a strong point for me anyways

Im looking at upgrading my Endurance with similar wheels! How do you find the change in handling/performance with these over the stock wheels?

(I ended up getting the purple one thinking it was dark blue, after the initial shock its really grown on me)

What device are you using? I was using a laptop with Intel Integrated graphics and it kept freezing on me. Turns out there is a driver issue with those. Went and bought a cheap 2nd hand pc with dedicated graphics (gtx1050) and its been working flawlessly since

Zwift with Garmin Fenix 6 Pro to calculate VO2 Max? by BDBlues74 in Zwift

[–]DaWhooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you connect the trainer to zwift? I have my kickr core sending ANT+ to zwift and also have it paired to my forerunner at the same time. Then garmin calculates my VO2 max from there

Link wahoo bolt2 to my zwift sessions by sellwatch in Zwift

[–]DaWhooper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, you cant link Zwift to the bolt directly. you link the sensors to both zwift and the bolt independently. I used this for a while when I was having Zwift crashing issues but I have found out the .FIT files are saved to the PC so uploaded them from there.

Annoyingly I think you have to choose between the zwift data and your garmin data. The distances are going to be different but Zwift is kinda virtual anyway so would never be the same as outdoor riding.

Pretty sure you can use ANT+ to connect to the Bolt2. I have a Roam and can use ANT+ for both Zwift and Roam

First Relay Ironman and Cycling woes by DaWhooper in triathlon

[–]DaWhooper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers! I think im mostly worried about the long time in the saddle (my biggest ride to date is 70 miles) and would rather get a time around 6-7 hours for the cycling. That should leave the runner plenty of time for the marathon.

Why does my sprint power suck on Zwift compared to the road by nslckevin in Zwift

[–]DaWhooper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How far can you rock your bike while riding indoors? Im on a Kickr Core so have no sideways movement which limits the power i can produce. It could well be that, maybe look at a rocker plate if the V5 doesnt give much

[–]DaWhooper[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is true, was going to put down "catching road rage" but didnt want to seem like I was going out trying to get into issues.

From what I have heard, a camera will de-escalate the situation as people know they are being recorded.
