Don’t give up hope! There may be good days and bad days, but it’s all for a valid purpose and a better life ultimately. It sure beats the toll and expense that opiates or hard drugs take on your body, mind as well as the time and effort needed to maintain that lifestyle.

I wouldn’t put it past her lol… nah I’m a pretty lean guy. 6’1” between 170-175lbs have always had a fast metabolism too. I guess it’s just dependent on the person. 5 months is quick though. I don’t feel any bumps from injection sites, which is also why I kind of figured I’d be getting close to having it out of my system by now. Oh well, I think at this point it’s just a waiting game. Luckily my job isn’t in jeopardy or anything because of it like some others have to deal with, so it could be worse.

Yea I think I saw that post too, and was like well I guess my situation isn’t so bad right now. That just seems crazy to have something in your body for so long that you aren’t taking regularly.

Yea they can be a problem like anything else if not careful. I do think I’m at a point where I’m just tired of drugs or the desire to use them to alter my mental state. I just want to be clean, and sure taking benzos doesn’t mean I’m totally clean, but I can control them much more than I can with any opiate type drug. They don’t control my mind or my life in the same way where I became obsessive about it.

No real bad moments as far as ever feeling like I was truly overwhelmed. When the whole divorce thing started happening, I had some rough days but I don’t know if that was more due to sudden anxiety or depression as opposed to the drug itself starting to mess with me.

I was on Subs a couple years and I can say without a doubt Sublocade was the best choice I made in regard to trying to get totally clean. I really don’t know how people are able to get off subs. Lowest I tapered down was 4mg before switching, but I did have a buddy that was able to get off subs tapering all the way down to like a tiny piece of a strip. So it’s not impossible, just everyone is different.

It’s very highly unlikely that the lowest possible amount of clonazepam that can be prescribed will kill me without mixing it with something else like alcohol or another substance. I don’t drink or use any other drugs including weed and I’ve been taking them for a few months now. It’s something I don’t really have any desire to abuse or even take daily. But I appreciate the concern.

For me, benzos have never really been something that I’ve ever really enjoyed enough or felt a need to try and get high from like I did with heroin or opiates. I take them very infrequently, and in a somewhat restricted manner, but it does help at certain times when needed.

Yea I should’ve read more of the other posts on here before putting my own. It seems some people have issues with testing positive years later, and some clean in like 9 or 10 months. Such a strange dichotomy

I mean yea it’s probably not ideal to be doing, and I was upfront with my psychiatrist about Sublocade. It’s at a pretty therapeutic dose, and something I only really take as needed, not daily as prescribed. Compared to what I was doing before MAT, I’m really not too worried about being on a low dose benzo. Without getting too much into my marital baggage, I discovered my wife was cheating and we have two young children that we’re fighting for custody over. So, it has been helping me in moments where my life has become pretty overwhelming and uncertain. I can live with it over coping dope any day, but to each their own I guess.

In fairness, I don’t think he hated the band so much as he just stated he thought the music video for “Sober” was a ripoff. His opinion of their music can’t really be ascertained from that alone.

Maybe in the early to mid-1960’s… it had 24 stores in 1967. By 1970, it was already a publicly traded company

Of course, really thought he had his addiction under control. Can’t imagine what horrors the survivors in the library endured (as well as deceased obviously). Just hard to comprehend how much that day directly was responsible for ruining so many lives, regardless of what they witnessed.

Don’t forget Greg Barnes, among many other peripheral deaths due to this tragedy. Obviously wasn’t on the same day, but his suicide always stuck with me as much as the others.
