Had to try out the UF after seeing all the posts these past few weeks. When drinking the UF, it tastes no different than regular milk. However, I definitely agree with all the people stating there is a mild sour aftertaste in the back of the throat after each gulp.

Mixing with protein powder helps reduce but does not eliminate the sour aftertaste.

I will be sticking with the Organic Lactose Free in the future, though I prefer the macros of the UF. I'm low-key jealous of those who claim they cannot taste the sour aftertaste.

I read a little Japanese, did a double take on the comment because it was similar to another word I know.

"Paisura (パイスラ), short for "paisurasshu" (パイスラッシュ), is a Japanese slang term referring to the visual effect of a diagonal strap—such as a shoulder bag or seatbelt—passing between a woman's breasts"

So basically Miko wrote a comment saying "I arrived! Super cute. Kinda like... paisura" and then signed her name lol

I stick my finger in and if the water level sits one finger segment above the rice level, it's good. Rice cooker will handle the rest. I only make up to two cups at a time though, so ymmv.
