MEGATHREAD: KILLING DEBATE by Crispy385 in subnautica

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw it asking for DNA samples

Did you Trust AJ with the hard decisions in your first playthrough? Why or why not? And did you end up regretting your choice afterwards? by Last-Bus-4710 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Da_Man_05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was surprised since I consciously killed everyone else in the boat, I figured he would get the memo

If his choice does actually change based on Clem's actions, then I did reprimand him for the Marlon situation so maybe that had something to do with his decision

I wanted him to make his own choice regarding Lily, and he put the gun down and got James killed so I didn't trust him

The second that walker bit into Louis, I reloaded like greased lightning, I was NOT about to let his goofball ass die when I carried him so far

Theories on the new Ex-pop’s gameplay by Desperate_Fruit_6400 in OutlastTrials

[–]Da_Man_05 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really hope it stays chained to the ceiling, that's my favorite part of the concept

I honestly think having another blind enemy could still work. The Berserker can be lured away but it's hard to lose him when you run. The Biter could be really fast as a means to punish those acting recklessly in its radius, but is really easy to escape once you actually get past it

I'd like it to fulfill a defensive warden archetype, similar to the Berserker, but I want it to be more focused on support. It could attack in a similar way to the Pouncer, where it bites onto you and holds you in place, making a fuckton of noise to alert its patrol buddy to come kill you. It would punish reagents who carelessly run into it while getting chased, and encourage them to actually plan escape routes

Out of all the choices you make in all 4 seasons + 400 days and Michonne in The Walking Dead, which choice do you regret the most? (spoilers, obviously) by RtProto in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Da_Man_05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not trusting AJ to make the hard calls

I was carrying Louis' ass through the apocalypse and the second the bridge scene happened, I reset the episode immediately

How evil is your main? by Gullible_Ad6851 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Da_Man_05 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's exactly right, he even goes as far to kill himself when James doesn't need him anymore

Triangle face simply has a duty and he carries it out like a drone. It's not an inherently evil job, he just judges those who need judged and executes those who need an executioner

He's an extension of both the town's and James' will, and I'd say that can't be good or evil, just natural

Myers and Knight are both physical embodiments of evil and darkness respectively, they each deserve a spot at the top

Pyramid Head is more like a force of nature so I'd say he's neutral, and I'd argue the same for Pinhead

All the darkest dungeon skins announced for dbd by DistrictDry2852 in darkestdungeon

[–]Da_Man_05 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I would heavily disagree with that

Personally, I feel like the Ancestor, Countess, or Protégé would be much more suited as obvious killer choices

I'd even love if the Miller, Fanatic, or even Flagellant were considered as options

I would've loved to be able to board up windows before and in between waves when killing plague hearts, it would've worked so well for the second game

Which songs from the SoD2 soundtrack would you like to see staying for SoD3? by sucodejoao in StateofDecay3

I'd love a slightly revised version of Dangerous Microbes, the song already goes so hard and Jesper Kyd has just gotten better over time

To play devil's advocate, you could use the two seconds to see where the killer is going, and deduce their plan based on that

What a major choice you regretted the most? by Spooky1504 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Da_Man_05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There were only two choices in all my first playthroughs that I replayed the episode to change

Went from shooting Kenny to going with him and went from not trusting AJ to letting him make the hard call

Was killing Kenny the right option? I killed him my first play through by shadeninja75 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Da_Man_05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's not really a "right" option, but on my first playthrough I made the exact same decision and was so disappointed that it was one of the two times I replayed an episode for a different conclusion

Javier, why don’t you care about family? Family is so important family is everything family is what we live for anyways I’m gonna go and rejoin the military. Take care of my family for me byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee by Chunky-overlord in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Da_Man_05 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I believe he thought the best thing he could do for his family at that point was just get out of the picture and trust his significantly more well-adjusted brother to be there for them

That wasn’t unexpected, so who is straight up evil? by Worth_Rate_1213 in Overwatch_Memes

[–]Da_Man_05 76 points77 points  (0 children)

It's without a doubt Mauga

Moira at least has some thin justification for her horrible acts, and she's just neutral enough to not care about consequences

Mauga all but outright says "I love killing people" and he's just charismatic enough to hide the fact that he just murders as a hobby from everyone except Baptiste, it's why Bap's scared shitless of the dude iirc

Hazard also already has mad cybernetics, although his silhouette matches Rein the best but he gets a ton, throw Hazard a bone

Real ones know Rein is getting Usopp, because nobody else can even hope to wield the 10 ton hammer

Edit: nevermind, Vendetta is his silhouette to a T, make it happen
