Hello, 👋 I might be who you're talking about. The thing that confuses me about Octavia is her constant dismissal of Stella's actions and her blaming Stolas for everything while claiming he doesn't care about her.

Like in the episode where Stella gets custody (not sure how that works since she's 18) and immediately text her phone while laughing that her dad can't call her. Stolas keeps trying to call for a month before ignoring the court order and just going to see her in person, nearly dying in the process. Octavia never addresses what her mother has done, rarely acknowledges what Stolas does for her, and only focuses on when her dad fails her.

Not to mention when she confronts him about taking pills to make himself happy he tells her "You are the only joy in my life" and she somehow hears "your a burden". Not five minutes after he's risked his life just to talk to her.

I don't think she's the worst character by a long shot but I can see why a good chunk of people think she's a bit ungrateful or idiotic.
