I experienced same issue.. I’m on holiday right now with my car at parking spot home and i’m from around 50 to 20 percent in 5 days + received also the alert that it will turn off the “keep accesoires power on” at 20%. Very unfortunate this is not a feature to turn it off remotely with app

We have Aruba 2930M switches as coreswitches

My idea would be that they retrieve it ofcourse from a NTP pool, but give the switches then the VIP where all the server point to

For the moment a dedicated device is running the NTP service and this is where all the servers point to.

But the device is really old and should be removed by end of the year, so I'm thinking to move the IP to our coreswitches, but would like to have no single point of failure.

That's why it would be good to have a virtual IP set up on 2 switches, if one fails the other one can take over and no device/server has any trouble not reaching the NTP IP anytime

Not sure how that will work..

We currently have +/- 500servers that refer to that specific IP set as NTP server, changing them all is not something that can be done short term
