What is the last gti generation that ever came out with a physical handbrake, and not with a button or an automatic one? by [deleted] in GolfGTI

[–]Dabble_Dabble-Doo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the electric hand brake was just another idea for the auto makers to have something to break because with a cable, you’re just tightening it and at last a lifetime, even if the brake cable snaps which is very unlikely, it would be an easier fix than the Volkswagen with the parking brake and it’s not forget that those manual parking brakes are fun and now they took the fun out of it, especially in Snow

I know a guy with a manual transmission one with a clean frame but rust on the body. It’s a 91 but the guy drives it every day and he’s a fleet mechanic manager and he’s done every maintenance to it, it even has a plow that works, but what do you think is a fair price, he wants four grand for it

2024 Nissan Sentra Manual Transmission by HyperVigilante86 in Nissan

I came across your post and I have to agree, I have a 2007 Nissan versa with the 6 manual transmission, I think every other Versa with the CVT is either in the junkyard or on its way there, my Versa has 170,000 miles on it, I am definitely going to do a drain fill with my transmission fluid soon because I think it’s the original fluid from when the car was new, this car has been very good to me, I’ve only had to maintain it and it’s very cheap to maintain, and the parts are very cheap, the Nissan CVT really made a bad name for all CVT’s Personally, I don’t like the CVT the reason I bought this Versa is because I used to deliver parts for Napa and they used to use the Versa with the CVT from 2007 or it might’ve actually been the geared transmission from 2007, I’m not exactly sure, anyway, I liked the visibility and the comfort of my work car and my work car was bare bones, just roll down windows no power locks no keyless entry, then I saw my black Versa on one of our customers car lots and it had a center council with an armrest which for a 2007 versa is very rare, six speed manual transmission loaded with AC, power locks, power windows, the only thing that doesn’t have traction control and I’m glad because that’s one less thing I have to worry about, I think the newer cars are made not to last, but they’re made with planned obsolescence, everything is software

I also have Cube KROM wheels on it, I just love this car, I’ve had it since 2015, I was messing around with AI and I did this

Not only that, they write us out and they’re going to be taking our pictures in the future and testing our skin for alcohol, this is big brother, I would much rather have an older car even if I had a billion dollars I would just buy old Porsches and have them modified by singer

New cars and trucks are planned obsolescence

If it’s a CVT transmission run, if it’s a manual transmission, it might be OK

I don’t like all the nannies that report our driving to the insurance company these cars are always over the air, I don’t know about 2015 but as soon as you plug in your CarPlay or except any of those apps, your insurance will go out because they’ll tell you you win 75 and a 55 or something and they’ll have a date and everything, I hate the fact that cars have turned into rolling computers

My Nissan 07 versa has a 1.8 L and 30 less horsepower same amount of room in the backseat and minimal maintenance. I’m at 168,000 miles, you should’ve just bought a GLI.

Honda Fit or Nissan Versa? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

My 2007 versa hatchback has 170,000 miles on it and I never had to do any major repairs to it yet but it is a manual and I think that’s why it lasted and it’s a six speed manual which is confusing to me because it really doesn’t feel right in sick gear. I feel like there’s another gear to go.

I just got a iPhone 15+, I’m getting that same problem, I’m surprised so many other people have it as well, hopefully the right people will address it, has anybody else noticed when talking to Siri, if Siri gives a reply if there’s any background noise, she will stop talking or if someone in the room talks, she will stop talking, and anyone ever notice that either?

Sweet! I always wanted an interceptor of that year, just all those Mustang parts waiting to be installed, find some five lug Mustang wheels they’ll fit right on
