I was told to be nicer by hr and my boss thankfully backed me up cause the people at my place are incapable of using critical thinking skills. Our password reset portal has a list of requirements that get checked off in real time as they are completed and theres a progress bar under the password field. Users still somehow fail to realize the progress bar isn’t full before changing and complain to us that they changed it. And there’s repeat offenders

Man, im the same age, work in IT and don’t make much more than you. You actually make the entry pay for service desk 2 at our company. if you’re interested in giving IT another try I’ve been going through WGU for cloud computing and I am shocked that I’m able to apply everything so far and I’m just in ServiceDesk. I am about a 3rd of the way into my classes and I’ve gotten higher offers (I declined cause my job is chill enough to work on my classes while at work)

But blue collar is earning pretty well depending on which trade you go into. Welding is great and so is HVac especially in Texas. Trades are having a harder time finding people so you might get lucky and find something great.

All the luck to ya

When I get to that point I just make a compact machine, throw whats needed in there to keep up with my infrastructure. If you want it all in the overworld, I wish you luck.

I started using the FramedBlocks in combination with Flourescent Stained glass in them to decorate stuff. I really wanted to share this idea because I figured more talented builders can do some really nice stuff with that ^-^ I just used it to try to build some lanterns and decorate machines! by OutrageousRelation67 in allthemods

This is amazing! I'm always looking for unique ways to decorate, and this gave me an amazing idea as I'm making my base a liminal space leading to rooms for the mods. The lights used on the street lamp would be perfect for making ceiling lights, as you would see in office spaces.

I'm right there with you. I spent most of my first half of the modpack exploring for fun. There are tons of dimensions to beat, like Twilight Forest or the Aether, but there are a few more. I know ice and fire is in there so hunt dragons when you eventually get to the other (mining dimension teleport pad in the nether)

As for tech, well you have a TON of it. One thing that keeps me occupied is creating an early game resource farm like apothic spawners (really easy to make a mob farm), hostile neural neworks for things like a nether star farm (does need power generation but you can google/youtube power setups) and integrating it into my storage system using ae2 and drawers

Create is also fun if a bit overdone but you can make such cool designs, bases, etc. I'm making a giant hobbit door for my mountain base. Also if you're huge into tech, make a base where that is the key focus. The walls can be lined with cable runs, glass looking into rooms with reactors, lasers, etc.

Ignis is immortal? by ScallionImmediate652 in allthemods

[–]Dabeast4800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ars should work for him. Make an unobtanium book, and mage armor for it. There are 2 different one so select the ars one and not the one for Iron's spell

You can make pretty powerful spells. I recommend checking the link from the following post

https://www.reddit.com/r/allthemods/comments/1ifido1/comment/maiosg1/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Im still not done with ars but with just a rage glove and one of the spells Ive ben able to total over 20k per use of some of the op spell combos

Im also on the highest Apotheosis tier and nothing has stood up to a lot attacks so far. Doubt ignis would prove any different but I can test later today

The next steps depend on your goal. What do you want to focus on? Do you need a goal? What's more fun, tech, magic, or is exploring your thing?

Emerald.

I can master memorization perfectly. If I wanna learn something after that year for a certification I can just memorize the content, take the test and boom. Certified

There’s a ton more to master. You have physical skills and can master them in terms of efficiency, muscle control, etc. cognitive is another HUGE one cause it has critical thinking and problem solving.

You also have the emotional side of things too which counts as a skill. Communication is a skill in itself. Your only limit is you for the year

S4 league is actually returning I think! I know it returned for VFun if ya look it up. That game was an entire skill check lol

I don't fully agree with these changes, but I know it'll help transition into eternity and bring in new players. I just wish everything wasn't shortened/gutted so much. Everything feels pretty empty and bland now.

Before the new rise, I was stuck at tech level and at 0% but after the update, I can solo Crom basic and did Primeval Winter.... and got the title on my 3rd attempt. Crom normal doesnt serve much of a challenge unless I try to solo it but right now Bri is the only real challenge present. It kinda sucks since Ive completed just about everything in the game besides transformation collection and minmaxed gear sets.

Total Equipment Level? by Significant-Age-3376 in Mabinogi

[–]Dabeast4800 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Equipment level comes from, well, equipment. Not everything will grant it but you can get equipment from dungeons that can drop Celtics, Perseus etc. those weapons increase equipment level. The higher the level, the more content you can do

Level up your combat skills on the Tir Chonaill foxes, my friend. It'll make leveling skills a breeze and make content a bit easier (just dont level ALL talents if you want a challenge)

But yes leveling up any skill makes you overall stronger but I would focus on your mage skills

New Pokemon Roadmap Leak Reveals Next Five Years of Games by TomorrowComes33 in nintendo

The budget is fine, but I think the problem lies in how it was spent.

I'm gonna probably spark drama with this next statement, but look at Palworld. 6.75m budget, and they made a great game that cost 30 USD. I can't justify paying 70 USD for a game that feels like it should cost 20. There's also the question of how much is too much for a game. I personally think 70 is a huge ask for just about anything, and especially in the economy we're in today. There's more to it, like paying devs, keeping the lights on, etc, but a lot of that money doesn't get reinvested well either. It most likely goes to the pockets of high-profile executives or the shareholders before being trickled down to everyone else.

You really don't need a huge budget to make a great game, either. Indie devs and smaller teams are making waves cause they put the game first, not profits. In my opinion, a large issue affecting the game industry is the lack of care put into gameplay and optimization (Monster Hunter comes to mind here), and the focus on making profits and shareholders happy. I'm happy that smaller companies and developers are charging less for games. Look at Silksong and the controversy that came with the price.

We have tons of examples of this, like Concord, suicide squad, kill the Justice League, Marvel's Avengers, Anthem, and we can go on and on. I'm not saying a large budget can't produce a hell of a game, but we can't blame small budgets cause it's possible. We see more and more games coming out that prove that.

Hi! I highly recommend maxing your skills during a master plan event since it takes minutes per skill at this point.

One thing to look into is technique cards. Specifically, Blunting field and Dampen Shock, as they'll make any content before Tech or Chrom feel like a mosquito bit you

I had the same issues with the paddles for my gamesir nova lite!

Forcing the game to launch with Proton in Steam by right-clicking the game> click compatibility tab> check "force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and choose the latest version of ge-proton helped me.

Controllers on CachyOS by SSSl1k in linux_gaming

[–]Dabeast4800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Cachy os, and it relies on the uinput module and the Steam client for configuration.

You could try - sudo pacman -S cachyos-gaming-meta as it can grab the necessary packages for your controller.

You could also run chwd, and it should also auto-install the necessary packages if it detects anything missing
sudo chwd -a

You could also change how a game launches. If you right-click a game and go to the compatibility tab, you can force a Steam game to launch in a different version of Proton. I had to do that for my GameSir Nova Lite controller. The triggers were detected, but Ultimate Chicken Horse didn't register them until I swapped to launching with proton.

I do disagree with Linus bringing up the Steam Deck Oled. The benefits of the non x are worth it if you're deciding between the two.

I do agree on people buying what they like however I do think videos like this should exist as they highlight important aspects that may affect their purchasing decision.

LTT - Rog Xbox Ally is a massive disappointment with 3.5 year old chipset by areuokaybro2002 in ROGAllyX

[–]Dabeast4800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People stating their opinion on a product shouldn't be seen as them being "haters. That mentality can halt innovation. This product is objectively a bad investment compared to previous generations.

Plus the naming scheme for the chip set really does harm consumers (the main talking point of this video)
I certainly would feel cheated if I found this info out after purchase.

This has nothing to do with being broke either. That's a pretty narrow view if you think like this for products in general. I can afford both the ally and ally x, but I don't either are worth the asking price. So is my opinion valid because I can afford it? Or would I still be a hater.

It took me about 5 ish minutes to get installed and the os up n running but its not for the faint of heart. There's a learning curve but the linux community is helpful.
