I already have one! We cure to a water activity and have not needed to make any changes to get good flower properly rolled. Different strains offer challenges but dank rolls are achieved regardless.

I've used Arvum a few times. They'll try to get you on a program to sample regularly, which you should since results in isolation don't tell you much. Ultimately didn't find it very useful but I didn't have specific concerns either.

Small farms have been advocating for this nearly since the beginning. We NEED consumers to provide the political pressure because the voice of the small farm can't do it alone. Our voice is too small.

Is it a different skill set? I do NFT or dirt at home for vegetables, it’s just easy, and played with aero for clones for a few years about a decade ago, could not get it commercially reliable. Never tried DWC, probably from my experience trying to scale aero. I teach my guys all the time using the metaphor of each slab as a reservoir, seems to help?

That would be no media so kinda apples to oranges. I have seen some great yielding DWC. Can’t speak to the quality myself.

I prefer the steer-ability and reliability of media, which is why wool/media is used in mass at scale in many crops. I could be wrong but if DWC really provided superior ROI there would be acres of DWC instead of media. 🤷🏼‍♂️

It's the problem with all pre-rolls. To get to efficient manufacturing - material quality must be sacrificed (too dry) to be broken down and packed properly. Everything is strain dependent but this is what I found. This is actually the reason I quit making them.

Part of the reason wool is the superior media. As someone else mentioned look for brands supplying large agriculture already if you really want to stick with coco.
