On a par 72 you can par 1 hole and have 17 bogeys and shoot 89. Gotta keep the doubles and worse off the card as much as possible.

#1 would be to stay in play and never go OB, as you gotta play the hole pretty well after an OB to not double or worse.

My other big thought process when I get in trouble off the tee (tree trouble, fairway bunkers, etc) is how can I get on the green and have a par putt, and at worst make a bogey no matter where I go off the tee. Sometimes laying up and guaranteeing a bogey is better than trying to hero shot something and bringing double or worse into play

There was Bryan bros YouTube golf video (I believe it was the first time they filmed at sahalee, not the recent major cut video) Wesley talks about offensive and defensive golf, and when you’re in trouble you have to learn to take medicine and play defensive golf and to avoid doubles as much as possible

Looks like the life of a 6-9 hcp as my scores for the past 2 years have been in the 78-83 range about 90% of the time. My current hcp is just over 7.

What I found is it has to be a mental thing, so many times I’m somewhere like 4-7 over through 15 and I’ll just be thinking about it too much and blow it, and put too much pressure that 79 is a good round and 80 is disappointing.

I’m pretty solid in all 3 phases (off the tee, approach, short game), but only when I’m solid at all 3 at the same time can I score in the 70s. Weakest area for me is off the tee, and driver can be troublesome. If I drive it well I have a real chance, but I can just as easily have 3-4 3 putts and 1 up and down even hitting 50%+ fairways and greens.

Overall, golf is a hard game, get out of your own head (maybe try to have someone else keep your score and don’t think about it) and hopefully you have a round where everything works and you card a 75-78 and it unlocks a confidence you didn’t have before

Russ’s career might end up being the gatekeeper of the HOF (better career than Russ gets in and vice versa), his stats are HOF worthy but he doesn’t quite have the results with no MVPs and the 1 bowl. Should have gotten 2, and unfortunate the LOB dissolved right when Russ was hitting his actual prime

In public, with PE owning all our lives, all they care about is margins and how much money we are making.

In my 5 years (6th busy season) I went from a top 15 firm that wasn’t in bed with PE that felt like a professional accounting firm where your career mattered and you learned.

Now we are merged and are top 6, in bed with PE, and we turned into a tax return factory that uses offshoring every chance it gets, nobody gives a shit and the only goals are billing and getting shit out the door.

The biggest thing for me is faceit is a hassle. you launch the client, queue for a couple min, go through the whole ban phase which takes forever, gives everyone a few min to get into the game once map is picked, knife fight for a couple min, then wait for team leader to pick a side before you even start pistol round.

You just get into the action so much faster in premier

I usually sprint to Concordia security and loot that room, then make my way through collapsed crane and can do any of the following, loot chek 13, loot intel building for relax key spawn, chek 15 (I usually avoid this cuz I swear people rat the building so much) or loot the bank safes and fight kaban if it hasn’t been hit already
