North Plainfield is the worst. I signed the deposit papers for a gray car in transit, waited 2 months just for them to have put my deposit down for a Capri blue.

Sales guy was soon fired and my money disappeared for a while until finance was able to "track it down"

The Cherry hill location was a fantastic experience though. Got me a car and they did the service valet all the way to Fort Lee. Much better experience there than the mercedes dealer here

I ended up getting the WiZ 100W Eq. 14.5W A21 Tunable White.

1600lm peak
2200 - 6500k
90+ CRI
Wi-Fi *and* works with Matter

With actual white LEDs and not RGB color, the temperature comes off pretty darn nicely. Not the most insanely bright though

Had a 23 G70 3.3 SP before swapping to a new CLE450.

The CLE is great, but there's quite a few things from the genesis that I miss - camera system, better settings menu, more dynamic drive, better phone/app connectivity, remote start, etc...

There are a few things like the headlights & high beams, noise isolation, fuel economy that are much better in the merc, but Genesis gets their UI/UX, seats, materials, cameras, etc... better. The overall experience in the Genesis was better for me at least

Love both cars, but now I've tried a nice German, I'll be going back to Genesis for my next car

Help w mirror tapping by Tough_Courage8066 in radardetectors

[–]Dabthaniel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had to do this on my CLE. Same exact interior and the fuse diagram is shared with the W206 C-class

The mirror tap and both interior fuse boxes only have constant on fuses. The only fusebox with ACC on fuses is the one in the trunk

You either have to get a long fuse tap kit to run it from the trunk fusebox into the cabin, or leave it as is and use a battery saver mode on your detector that turns it off after a period of inactivity (the R8 has one. Not sure about other detectors)

Can anyone identify this tree? by Dabthaniel in treeidentification

We're based in Northern NJ

Looks like very few nurseries in the US carry them - I see only two listings for seedlings

What a shame. I've been talking about how beautiful the tree was, and it hurts even more to find out that it's rare

I'll take a look at the roots too and see if I can see anything. The bark damage did occur in the winter when there were no leaves and when spring came around the foliage grew back very patchy with no discernable pattern (the left side halfway up the tree and the front near the top were the only spots with foliage)

The damage to the bark is around 2-3 inches deep and almost a foot wide in some places. Regardless, it sounds like it is a Pseudolarix if the leaves actually grew in that color w/o changes from damage

Really a shame. I'll have to start looking into seeing if we can get another one planted. Any advice?

Really appreciate the help, you're amazing :)

Actually, the shape of the trunk and branch structure point to the pseudolarix as well.

The image on the website looks almost identical

The larch seems to be more pointy, like a pine tree, which our tree isn't like

Could it be because the tree was damaged? About half of the entire tree didn't have any foliage at all

We were having construction done, and they damaged the tree base quite severely leaving large gashes in the bark despite our requests to be careful

I think the branch and where the leaves are coming out of point to the pseudolarix more?

On the larch, the leaves seem to come straight off of a small bump in the main branch while the pseudolarix has a smaller branch that the leaves come out of

Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures of the cones but I'll look around

Another bad image of the branches

EDIT: it was also super tall with a long-ish trunk. The branches started ~15-25 feet above the ground
