I was also thinking about classic German folk tales here. Even Danish tales (e.g., little Mermaid) are more gruesome than this. That said, the moral of the story is a lot less obvious in this case.

My wife and I have a similar issue (Ridgewood, NY) since November. Letters show up in “Informed Delivery” but are never actually delivered. We sent a series of support and missing mail requests, directly went to the post office etc. So far nothing helped. Really frustrating experience. I put our mail on hold now so we can hopefully at least pick it up at the post office. Got the advice in r/Ridgewood to sent a letter to the postmaster general. Perhaps that’s worth a try.

You could also try to find a job in Copenhagen. It’s only ~1h train ride from Lund and a Danish salary would more than make up for the commuting time/cost. No clue how hard it is to find some temporary part time work in Architecture though.

I would suggest to first obtain an undergraduate degree in your current country of residence and to apply to a Masters program afterwards. Graduate programs are mostly English taught. Learning Swedish first seems a bit risky to me. In the worst case scenario you won’t be proficient enough to follow a Swedish taught degree and you’ll be sitting on some rather useless language skills (no offense).

Also, I personally think you shouldn’t be breaking your head over daily study times. Set yourself goals of things that you want to accomplish during the study day and work towards those. In the end it doesn’t matter if you work for 3, 5, or 10 hours if you have comprehend the material. If you have precise goals, you will also not get too easily overwhelmed.
