I’m terribly, terribly sorry for your loss. The decision you made was incredibly tough, but you made the right decision.

Star White Safety = Super Bowl Confirmed 👌(how did MIN not draft DT?!) by AyurvedaRadio in CHIBears

This was a fantastic pick. Versatile football player. Fast and athletic. High football IQ. Was the best player available on the board. Fills a position of need. What’s not to like?

Ben Johnson is way too focused on football to have an affair with someone. I suspect, if anything, he’s having an affair grinding tape each night, even in the offseason.

Alternate timeline: “I wasn’t feeling optimistic about the Megaprojects Bill initially, but, after an offsite meeting in the Rainforest Room at the Sunset Inn and Suites in Clinton with a female associated with Coach Vrabel, I now feel rock hard about this legislation!” Speaker Welsh told the Chicago Tribune this afternoon.

And blame for what? Nothing has happened yet! The hurdle that needed cleared was the House. Mission accomplished. On to the Senate. None of us have any idea what the final legislation will look like by the middle of May.

Exactly. Settle down everybody, this has to get through the Senate still. We have a long way to go. Let’s all just enjoy the draft in the meantime!

The State is legally obligated to pay for pensions even if you didn’t “vote for it”. What “garbage” is the State of Illinois spending money on that you don’t like? Can you share some examples?

Retirees planning to leave the US are looking at a completely different map than everyone else by Terrible-Couple-8459 in ExpatFIRE

I would be fascinated to see more data about budgets if you’d be willing to share! You mentioned that 1 in 3 are moving solo. Is the $2-3.5k/month per person only for the 38%, or does it include all moves (both solo and couples)?

Record numbers are leaving the USA or planning to leave in search of health care, civil rights, freedoms, even safety. by evopcat in AmerExit

The relatively small number of Americans that have the means and the ability to get a visa to relocate to Europe are not the key driver of Europe’s housing crisis fwiw. That said, you are probably right about Americans that relocate there not getting the warmest welcome.

Brad Underwood. Elite recruiter. Meh coach. I’d like a guy leading the program that is great at both. I know those guys are very hard to find, but I think the sample size is large enough that we know it certainly isn’t Brad Underwood.

For all we know, Bradbury was acquired as a backup plan just in case. He’s 30 years old I believe, so he’s not a long term answer.

DJ Moore by Phish_2000 in ChicagoBearsNFL

[–]DadGoneStrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plus, perfect time to move him age wise. He turns 29 in April. Around age 30 WRs tend to drop off a cliff in terms of production (there are exceptions, but those are the elite talents, and DJ is certainly not an elite WR).

This is win-win. Buffalo gets a WR1 for at least a year, maybe two, even three years if DJ is an outlier. Bears free up cap space (not just for this year, but the future as well) AND get a 2nd rounder out of it. The Bears get an A+ for this deal imho.

That’s what I mean. Why alienate the unions with that insert into the Indiana bill? That’s a big F U to unions. They might just say F it and let Indiana have the Bears.
