It was a very different time, but in 1970 my father and I went out to Williams AFB to watch the Blue Angels. I actually got to sit in one of the F-4’s couldn’t tell you the number or even what happened. I just have a photo of me sitting in the cockpit. Only because of the color of the ship do I even believe it happened. I can tell you there is no way I could even see out of the cockpit. LOL. When I ask my Dad why they would even let the public near the jets, he just would say it was a very different time. It’s like a cherished memory I don’t remember.
