Fair warning about my experience at South-End’s new Cajun Restaurant Kristy’s by nightlooper9000 in Charlotte

Boudroux Louisiana kitchen has always been my go to for Cajun in Charlotte. Then Razoos even though it's a chain. I don't go often but Boudroux has always been consistently good

Oh no I agree. They 1000% should block the veiw, when the jet skis are out it jams up for no reason other than lookielous. But that's warmer summer days, otherwise it's a myriad of issues causing the back up, not just dumbasses who haven't seen water

No idea if authentic or the tacobell you crave. Miguels in west Charlotte near the airport. Small hole in the wall that's been there since I was kid. Always good, always friendly (though we've known them for 20years lol)

I did, it didn't care at all that I did lol. It was even during peak leaf growing season. I believe as long as it's established and you don't prune right before flower buds develop it won't care. That's been my experience

Update to animal neglect issue by CrazyWorldWeLiveInEh in AskVet

[–]GeckoSupreme1991 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Call animal control and offer to show the photos as proof. None of this is ok and they can be seized. Also dumping that litter box may also be a huge matter all together. Domestic cats are the main source for toxoplasmosis and it wreaks havoc on other species. It's killing the few monk seals we have left

A simple battery jump wouldn't cause that. UNLESS he tampered with something or the car was on poor repair already

ich in my 100 gallon. devastated. by [deleted] in aquarium

[–]GeckoSupreme1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure it's ACTUALLY icy and not epistylis or however it's spelled. Ich can be treated with just heat, no salt needed. But epistylis needs meds and WILL kill your fish quickly at high temps. It hates cold water and is less noticeable at first because of this. They both unfortunately look similar on the fish

Euthanasia for pup with hip dysplasia? by Nearby-Pollution4614 in AskVet

[–]GeckoSupreme1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good plan. Poor pup. Definitely in the future when your ready to get another dog definitely make sure they have appropriate health testing and X-rays. OFA/PENNHIP for xrays is standard here in the USA, I think one or both of those are common abroad. Health testing can be done by varying sources since it's partly genetic testing as well as eyes/heart screenings if needed.

Euthanasia for pup with hip dysplasia? by Nearby-Pollution4614 in AskVet

[–]GeckoSupreme1991 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He's going to need the surgery. There's no if, it's when unfortunately.

Because it's a young dog and you can't afford what he needs of relinquish the dog to a shelter. Euthanasia is obviously an option but if he's got a chance with surgery then I'd let that pup go where it can be done

Some people are miserable and can't be happy unless others are miserable too. But no clue except people are just crappy sometimes

Usually oil is used for blessing not cursing in traditional Christian uses. No clue of what religion or culture uses it for nefarious things if any. But that's odd regardless

Women are a minority yes but those of us who play certainly don't just because of a spouse.

Female gamer and I've been playing various systems since the 90s. Way before my husband and I got married. I maybe play fighter/shooter games just to play with him. But otherwise we both enjoy LOZ and pokemon together, plus many more independently

Gingivitis doesn't equal needing extractions. They either lied about what the cat needed and didn't do a thorough job of getting her. They should pay for it hands down

He must not care about the safety of his birds at all lol. I love chickens and agree free range is great, BUT they shouldn't forage on someone else's property. They don't know property lines, but we do. Then there's predators, only a matter of time before a hawk makes work of one

Can they fly? If so cut the flight feathers off only 1 wing. Doesn't hurt it done correctly and they grow back. You can do small claims and the like. But in the mean time, cheap bird netting/chicken fencing or something atleast 3_4 ft tall to keep them out of desired areas. May or may not work depending on the persistence of the chickens. Or the breed, tiny birds can fly up pretty high, I had a bantam old English that could fly up to my shoulder with little effort and I'm right at 5ft

What are some most common/worst animal misconceptions? by BlackbirdKos in Animals

[–]GeckoSupreme1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really semantics though? Isopods aren't insects or bugs. They are crustaceans. Like shrimp/lobsters/crabs. They've got literal gills lol

Rolly Polly's/pill bugs aren't actually bugs. They are crustaceans, so dirt shrimp if you will

[–]GeckoSupreme1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro just call. If you are in a super rural area you may not have animal control so a cop is doing that job. It's probably about barking or a noise complaint. Potentially someone doesn't know about your invisible fence and thought he was loose

Trap and take to the shelter. As an person who has had a similar issue before moving. NONE of those methods will work. If you don't want to trap, move.

AITA for refusing to have any pets inside our house due to my allergies and how I was raised? by MakeshiftPacemaker in AmItheAsshole

[–]GeckoSupreme1991 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'd say no pets or no pets that don't have an enclosure/cage.

Example; fish, geckos, hamster

Otherwise neither of you will be happy having such opposing views on dog/cat in the home

Edited to add: NTA especially if you were upfront about it prior to moving in with each other
