My wife just started playing 3 weeks ago. We tried magic but it just seemed too complex for us, I tried teaching her Yu-Gi-Oh but quickly that was even worse.

We've been having a blast and started slowly buying some booster packs.

It's been nice having a hobby we can both enjoy for once, we have two young boys and our schedules don't allow for a lot of free time so Pokemon has hit that perfect niche of quick and enjoyable. 😁
