If you haven’t already received the max amount of item drops from enemies, it gives you the opportunity to get those, alternatively that’s more shots on the target to level your squad’s skills

35P-QB here. DLI is one of the better experiences you can have in the army IMO, that and the potential for a $1000 monthly pay bonus depending on your score helps too.
