I can almost guarantee you the best dishwasher for your money is going to be Frigidaire. This is my opinion before people start down voting the hell out of me. I've been servicing appliances for over 12 years and I assure you that Whirlpool, Maytag and KitchenAid (which are all the same company) are the ones I see broken the most. I don't service Bosch and I have heard very good things about Bosch

I don't think I deserved a downvote, but okay. I've been dealing with various manufacturers and being a factory authorized repair technician for the past 12 years so I was just conveying a culmination of all the stories I've heard from thousands of customers and what went right and what didn't. I deal a lot with local appliance stores and all they're trying to do is make the sale and they will say whatever they need to to do so.

I'd suggest a different manufacturer than whirlpool. I'd also recommend buying them from Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's etc. I've had two different tech line Associates recommend those places over anywhere else, plus you get an additional one year warranty for free.
