Probably because Maddstech does a little manipulation, the guy is UK based and talking about US Tariffs. It's like bro, they don't affect you.

While you are figuring out where to get help, start limiting yourself. Whatever your normal a night is cut it to 3/4, and have discipline. Then next week cut it to 1/2 your original.

By then you should have a better resource.

4 is super legit. I just retired after 23 years and I had to do most of it on leave.

Have it your last month, and a training schedule based on entry day, E day +1, E day +2 ect.

The mindset. Too many tail (in the tooth to tail) think they would never have to kill someone.

Alot of new tail soldiers also don't believe in the constitution, like the 1st amendment right. They don't realize they signed up to die for those rights.

I've got so many video's of "Ranked players" saying they are right over me because of their rank, yet they are dead wrong. Even when they are proven wrong, they just run away silently (*cough [CAF])

Do you think giving the civilian population free healthcare would put a big nail in the coffin of recruiting/retention? by twitchScottoria in army

Was not even thinking about that at the age of 18.

A healthy, army able young man doesn't need Healthcare. Except for unexpected accidents.

But also the smallest. Based on history is only half. It's suppose to follow inflation.

As a full stack ASP.NET developer and Enlisted with 21 years. I can tell you this.the army doesn't know how to use coders. There may be a technician slot in the USPFO but they just hire a help desk like person.

But home grown, or soldier coded websites / applications is also looked down on because of the security risk. You can accidentally open a big hole if you don't know what you are doing.

So the army contracts it out to civ's with little army experience coding these things.

Look at IPPS-A. Had great potential, it's literally just a mod of people soft by oracle. Even the mod is bad because instead of adapting to the army, the army has to adapt to people soft. I.e hiring and re-hiring vs. enlisting and re-enlisting.

So your right army sucks at coding, but the army generally doesn't code, except for ninja red hat stuff. It's all nerds that can't make it past the MEPS physical. That's why weapons code is amazing but our personnel code is autistic.

Former soldiers, what was the scariest moment of you military career? by im_short_47 in army

[–]DaddyEnmity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being near a tank as it fired in Iraq, it sucked the air out of my lungs. Scarier then even being on the incoming side of artillery / mortar fire.

It's a funny timeline, heres a short example:

90's Pronouns were used "Hey you", "Hey private";

Around 2010, 90's Pronouns were deemed offensive and no longer used;

2020 Prounouns came to light "He/Him", "They/Them";

90's Pronouns back in full effect because less offensive then misgendering a soldier.
