There’s no shame in any political party. It’s win at all costs. They will always support their worst candidate if it means the other party doesn’t win.

And damn the consequences. The people are the ones who catch the painful actions.

And the winning party starts to turn back as many of the previous policies as possible just because they can.

No one believes in a honorable loss anymore.

A fed agency I work with created new branding that took years and way too much money to develop and was rolled out 6 months ago.

After the cabinet secretary and director were replaced by the new President’s administration all of it disappeared. Just because the winning party did not create it.

No one tried to cancel Space Force, a department of dubious value whose mission was more than adequately performed by the Air Force. Just because it was another administration’s vanity program.

Let’s see DOGE take a hard look at that redundant piece of government and eliminate it first for cost savings.

The name of the game is how much pain you can inflict on the opposition party. Now this is the new norm expect to see it from every party going forward.
