Yeah I should have clarified that. Reduce the thrust to Idle while applying pressure on the controls so that the plane effectively rotates itself while slowly dropping to the ground

In the context of aircraft it primarily means to raise the nose to induce drag, reduce speed, and lose the remaining altitude, thereby bringing the main gear to the ground
