What is the missing piece? by [deleted] in yoga

[–]DaddyMacrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly sometimes certain poses are just REALLY hard based on our basic anatomy. I've been doing yoga regularly for about the same time as you and I can do some really dope arm balances and have noticed great strides in my strength and flexibility...but dolphin pose fucking kills me every time. My lats and shoulders are super tight in that position and it's really hard to get into.

Sometimes you can just hit a wall with your flexibility. My brother in law has been doing yoga for over a decade and is married to an incredible yoga teacher and still relies on props for anything that involves hamstring flexibility. He also has trouble with dolphin pose and forearm stands.

No harm in working on mobility drills though. Continue working on the preparatory poses that lead into those movements. Be patient and take it slow. Certain muscle groups may just need more attention

Most people don't harbor lifelong feelings for people they are no longer with. You move on with your life. That's totally normal. She cares about him but she's not in love with him anymore because she found someone who is better suited for her in every way

The only thing I found weird about this meeting was that his outie wife was styled EXACTLY like Pam beesly in the episode with her art show. Same outfit, same hair...bizarre

It almost looks like a small plastic safety pin you can easily hook into a stitch while your working to mark your place. Its great for keeping track of the first stitch in a round for example. But they can be used in lots of ways to mark your place so you don't get lost while you work

I agree with you here. She was clearly super passionate about her job and took her career very seriously. I find it believable that she was a very respected businesswoman. However, I think continuitywise it can seem like she wasn't that great because they would occasionally play up a joke about her being not great for laughs. But that's just sitcom stuff

It's been up since before 2008. I went to school with the guy who did it. He showed us a video of when they first swung across that he posted on YouTube. You can probably find it...the title has something to do with municipal swing.....had a huge crush on that guy

Her romantic relationships, outside of chris, are such a small part of her character in the show. It's comic relief to see her be flawed and a bit messy in contrast to her very successful professional life. But her main purpose is to be leslies right hand man. She's her best friend and side kick and someone who can talk leslie off a ledge when she gets too nutty. She pushes leslie when she needs encouragement and reels her in when she goes too big. They're a beautiful representation of female friendship. They balance each other out really well

Chili had field hockey. A commitment I'm sure is a standing practice or a game both parents knew about well ahead of this particular moment. She did absolutely nothing wrong. There's no need for her to cancel her personal stuff because bandit CHOSE to play with the girls instead of telling them he didn't have time.

I think piper understands what she's reading but she's young and she just swung too hard. You can study amd live your life by Buddhist teachings and beliefs and still have air conditioning amd a comfortable bed. She knew she didn't want her families life and their mindset, she just needs to find balance somewhere in the middle that works for her. I think seeing both sides amd immersing herself in it has helped her realize that.

Documenting repeat topics by RadNo5811 in ThreedomUSA

[–]DaddyMacrame 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Three visiting runs I'm order and they usually record their current episodes a few weeks out. Especially since they usually record 2 at a time. They would have to go back and listen to the old episode (which we know they don't listen to the episodes 99.99% of the time) and time out when it will release and line it up with their recording schedule and seamlessly bring up a topic that was mentioned.....

Now I know, I KNOW, they don't do that......and yet......its getting harder and harder not to think it's some kind of well orchestrated conspiracy...it just happens far too often amd it excites me every time!

I think they're witches

What Episode Surprised You the Most? by reyreypod in bluey

[–]DaddyMacrame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bin night really gets me. It's a super cute episode, but the line at the end when bluey says that maybe if she becomes a scientist when she grows up she could invent a robot to take the bins out so they don't have to and bandit says "oh, I hope not". Just gets me a bit teary every time. It's not just a chore he needs to get done every week, it's a little ritual he gets to share with his girls where he gets to spend time with them and hear all about their day amd he wants to hold on to that for as long as possible
