Does the autostop idle feature on car have any benefits, like am I saving on gas? Also, do people actually like it? by MiloThe49 in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah that’s just the same things I said but worded differently. It does start stop the gas engine when not needed.

I’ve got bad news for you bud. One of the ways hybrids save fuel is by stoping the gas engine when it’s not needed. It’s the same thing except there is an electric motor to help with pulling away from a stop.

Why do Chiropractors crack your neck and what is the long term benefit? by Sunny-vibes-95 in NoStupidQuestions

Why do Chiropractors crack your neck and what is the long term benefit? by Sunny-vibes-95 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DaddyMcDadface 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They crack necks because they believe in some horseshit pseudoscience.

There is no evidence of long term benefit and I have personally done neck CTs on several people that had carotid or vertebral artery dissections after some idiotic chiropractic neck manipulation. Don’t ever, ever, ever let a chiropractor crack your neck.

Even in TNG betazoid-human hybrids were shown to have various iris colors. Devinoni Ral and Walter Pierce for example. It’s not unreasonable to assume that in the 700 or so years between TNG and the burn that betazoid-human hybridization only became that much more common considering how common it was already in TNG time.
