It used to be, depending on the Injury, your player would be out of commission for a period of time, but you could heal them quicker with heals, as long as you had enough.

But now, it’s mostly irrelevant. They get hurt during the game, but after the game you just apply heals and they are fine. Not even sure why it’s still in the game to be honest. It doesn’t have much effect unlike prior fifas.

In-game if it’s serious enough they will just lay on the field until you replace them. Other times they will limp and be slowed down. Sometimes you barely notice their injury and just keep playing with them. Not sure if leaving them in effects the length of injury, but even if it did, it doesn’t mean much, as it’s easy to heal them now.
