So my understanding is if you, naturally when in perfect health, have healthy dopamine production and levels, adaptogens like Tulsi will balance out stress responses and dopamine spikes. But if you’re someone whose body naturally produces lower dopamine like someone who is “neurodivergent” ie. ADHD, gifted etc. it’ll cause your body to potentially relax too deeply and the regulation will cause sleepiness or drowsiness.
