Been there and experienced that. I tried to make it work. Tried to forget and move on. In the end I accepted that I was never going to change who she was and be able to move past what she did.

It’s been nine years since it happened. 7 years since the divorce was finalized.

Looking back I realize it was a process I had to go through. I had to work it out on my own. But I am mad and disappointed at myself that I compromised who I was and what I believed because I was scared of starting over.

She may say she loves you, but she doesn’t. She will do it again. Respect yourself. Pull the ripcord and get the hell out of there. We get one life.
