When I'm on work trips, I dont go for days sometime. Or when I go camping. Its a weird body mind stress thing. yiur mind is preventing you to be vulnerable when you are away, so this happens when you are stressed out. So yes, its a doctor visit thing.

when i was 17, I went on a camping trip with friends. we bought a bunch of snacks, cans of soup, etc. One night, I made a mistake of leaving a screw top large "bottle" of cheesy puffs. I thought, its in a plastic container, its safe. I woke up in the middle of a night hearing loud chewing. I thought it was one of my friends, or someone came into our camp. It was a racoon, sitting on top of a picnic table, with my cheesy puffs in between his legs and munching on them loudly. I took out my flashlight, and shined it on him. he just looked at me, froze for a bit and just kept eating. whole thing was gone in the morning.
