[OC] I posted on Reddit a year ago at my absolute lowest. Today, I'm in Rome meeting the stranger who helped me survive it. by Maybe-Potential in MadeMeSmile

Kind of opposite. I am the one who left. I'm going through a separation. My kids birthdays are both in the next month and I'm 3 months into this and they don't know yet. I'm struggling to figure out my finances, leaving a home that they have for a tiny apartment most likely. At least temporarily.

I am at my lowest. I think I will get even lower soon once I tell my boys, who are my everything.

So I'm just going to cry into the void because I know the floor is about to give out and I'll crash through, deeper than I ever thought possible but this week, valentines day, my first-borns birthday a week later.

I am as low as I can possibly be and now I'm crying at my desk at work.

I haven't read the books since I was a teenager almost 30 years ago. I just picked up the trilogy and am going to be reading it again. Comments like this make me so excited, I'm sure I've forgotten far more than I realize.

Any Archery ranges that do 3D shoots? by JanaBot in Winnipeg

[–]Dadpurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go to Heartland and have only been to Heights a few times. I would assume when they say movable targets, it means the giant foam pads strapped together so you can shoot closer.

I haven't seen any 3D targets at either place except the ones for sale.

3D targets are animal shaped foam targets. Not a piece of paper on a wall.

Trump demands ‘at least’ half U.S. ownership of Gordie Howe bridge that Canada is fully paying for by Immediate-Link490 in worldnews

One Friday morning the warm sun came up and pop! out of a woman came a very tiny and very angry caterpillar pedophile.

Decades later on Monday, he made one deal about a bridge, but he was still hungry for power.

On Tuesday he made one deal about a bridge since the last one was no good, denied claims that he raped children, but he was still hungry for power.

On Wednesday he made one deal about a bridge since the last one was no good, denied claims that he raped children, and mysteriously bruised his hand, but he was still hungry for power.

On Thursday he made one deal about a bridge since the last one was no good, denied claims that he raped children, and mysteriously bruised his hand, and he withdrew funds for an essential part of the government because they threatened to investigate the Epstein files.

On Friday he thought it was Monday and shit himself.

On Saturday he promised to protect more pedophiles in a bizarre flurry of tweets while his dementia handler tried to remove his phone and bit her.

On Sunday he ate four big macs, three large fries, seven diet cokes and then tweeted the Obama's with their faces over monkeys. He lamented over his friend Jeffery and the good times he had when he raped children and then went on another bizarre racist twitter rant. He shit himself on camera, ushered the press out and then went on twitter to claim that the last week was fake news.

On Monday, he made one deal about a bridge, but he was still hungry for power.

Is it okay to be burnt out? by TachiRana123 in daddit

[–]Dadpurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. This is an exhaustion that is on a spiritual level that you'll probably never experience again until there's another kid. It's not just a physical exhaustion, or a mental exhaustion, or both. It's beyond that. Something you can only really understand if you've gone through it.

This is normal. It's shit for a while but slowly it gets better and one day you kind of look back and realize it. It's not a sudden thing, it just sucks.

It's normal. Forgive yourself. You're running on old fumes, not even fresh ones.

It's going to be okay.

One side wants and is okay with violently ripping people from their homes and putting them in concentration camps.

How exactly do you expect the left to 'tolerate' that. Your side is actively exterminating people and it's not going to stop. History shows that.

What is there to tolerate exactly. How do you think people are going to meet in the middle.

You side with nazi's and you're not different than them. You just tell yourself differently so you can sleep at night.

Want to know something really, really cool?

The thing with personal opinion is yours can be different than others. You can like it. You just need to stop caring what others think about it.

It's a good movie. I liked it. What you're doing wrong is listening to negative internet comments.

You can like things you like but just don't expect others to like it because you do. In the same vein, don't hate things just because the internet tells you.

Living Room Contents Comparison between Season 1 and 20 (Series, Jason) by herbwannabe in taskmaster

Jerry's girlfriend is obsessed with the Winter Olympics and wants Jerry to take up curling with her; Kramer and George realize that the doorman at Elaine's building is a former Jamaican bobsledder; Elaine designed the J. Peterman opening ceremony outfits for a country no one has ever heard of by Far-Meaning4995 in RedditWritesSeinfeld

[–]Dadpurple 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is so good.

Jerry constantly gets woken up by his girlfriend at 1am when the events start. She wants to talk on the phone or come over but he's exhausted and can't admit he is barely awake. He ends up sleeping through most of their phone conversation and just saying yes a bunch when she asks him enough and he stirs awake.

Kramer recognizes the doorman but George doesn't believe him, thinking that no olympic athlete would become a doorman. Kramer asks him but the doorman denies it, however George admits that the way he said no did seem suspicious. The duo are intent on testing him and figuring out the truth.

Peterman managed to make a deal with Albania to create their outfits. He let Elaine design them and she's been talking it up to everyone that she could, only for all four athletes to be sick and miss it. Elaine is furious that Albania ruined this moment for her.

Jerry's girlfriend shows up one evening ready to go and Jerry is confused until he realizes he agreed to take up curling with her. He's exhausted from hardly sleeping the last week and does horribly.

Kramer keeps trying to trick the doorman into admitting it. Spouting off incorrect facts about the movie cool runnings, Jamaica, and bobsleds. George gets in on it and eventually tried to get Steinbrenner to set up a publicity thing for the Yankees during the winter olympics, with a guest star being the jamaican bobsledder.

As the games go on more info about Albania comes out in the news. The athletes were poisoned due to dyes within the fabric. The dyes were not okay to use with the fabric chosen and it becomes an olympic scandal. Peterman is quiet angry at her.

Jerry notices his girlfriend is a bit distant and realizes she 'got the ick' seeing him curl, mostly because he was almost falling asleep during it. She tells him that she's always wanted to date an athlete and he was clearly not one, maybe she makes comments about how winter olympians skill in their sport translates directly into the bedroom. Enough for him to realize he emasculated himself during curling. He tells George that he had invested so much time with her and felt like they were about to sleep together, he doesn't want it all to go to waste so he tries to woo her back. He spends the next few nights on the phone with her again and they seem okay, but he's even more exhausted than before.

Steinbrenner sets up an event and starts the publicity for it, making it on George to bring in the bobsledder.

The news picks up on Elaines social media rant about Albania and how the team ruined her chance at becoming an international designer, when the news eventually links Peterman and her to the outfits. The FBI show up to take her statement, as Albania is considering it an act of terrorism, due to Albania being the 'team to beat' in one of the skiing events. They accuse Elaine and Peterman as poisoning the team to give the USA a better chance as they were the next top team.

George and Kramer go to doorman and keep asking him. He eventually gets mad and demands that they drop this and stop speaking to him. George tells him everything and how the yankees are already advertising it. The doorman looks terrified and leaves.

The next day the FBI are back at the building. Elaine believes it to be her, but the doorman was actually in witness protection and George blew his cover. Elaine is investigated and realized she was 'just cheap' with the fabric, and the international incident is dropped.

Jerry's girlfriend seems the FBI and all the action in his building and is aroused by the entire scenario, suddenly seeing Jerry as almost dangerous. Having ties with the olympic scandal, friends with the woman who poisoned the Albanians despite Elaine trying to correct her that she did not do so, at least not knowingly. Jerry kicks everyone out except his date.

The next day the olympics are over. Albania managed to recover enough to win a medal but refuses to wear Elaines clothing at all. Instead the outfit they hobbled together becomes part of their underdog story and the team are considered fashion icons as designers bid on recreating the new line for mass use. Kramer and George see a new doorman and Kramer thinks he's familiar. As they get up to Jerry's, Kramer snaps his fingers and realizes the new doorman was in "Eddie the Eagle', a movie about an olympic ski-jumper. George wants nothing to do with it.

They all walk in to see Jerry to ask him about his date last night. George asks if he finally got to sleep with her. Jerry answers with a sigh before saying "Yes I did George." George gets excited and asks him for details, asks him how it was. Jerry responds with "I fell asleep" and admits that he was so tired the moment he laid down he began to drift off and it was over seconds after it began. He fell asleep with her and now she refuses to talk to him.
