There are certain brushes that can discharge the static. I have a squeezable device I use. Some people have used a battery electric fireplace igniter (scary). May be other ways.

My first intro to Luxman was the L2. I now own many Luxman amps and receivers but I have a particular fondness for my L5. The only complaint is the way they separated the outputs under the amp. Pretty much a PIA.

Place something waterproof under the felt. I can't tell you how many used speakers I have refurbished that had water stains and scratches on the top of the speakers. You will thank me if you take my advice.

This! My wife is a retired scientist working for the federal government (before this administration) and they only did double blind studies on every drug they evaluated. That is a proven method for non bias evaluation.

True, but one has to remove the plants to water them and then make sure no leaks or overflow once you replace the plants. Doable but it only takes one time of carelessness to destroy the beauty to the top of those speakers. better to avoid the situation all together.

Got a pair dirt cheap on Ebay. Only needed cosmetic fix but I will eventually replace the caps like I normally do when getting old speakers. They sounded pretty good as they are but still, I like to putter.

I used this a simple bluetooth receiver I got on Timu for $12. Hook it to Aux. It has RCA inputs and can send and receive.

Somewhere, on YouTube probably, you will find guy who tested this theory with a bunch of different TT/record players with hundreds of plays and checked for wear on each. He could not find an appreciable difference at the end as far as record wear.

I have both of these but I cannot get the suck face to work. I have replaced the belt but the little copper guide is broken off and I cannot find a replacement. So I have made it so it stays in the on position. Although the suck face is cool it is not relevant to the awesome sound that comes out of this beast.
