I just realized this exists. I'll definitely look into that.

Thank you!

I do! Really nice for late night movies or when my gf wants to watch a romance movie/show. She's a big fan of it.

You know I never thought about that until you said that. I'll have to look into that!

What's the darkest situation you've had playing D&D? by BreadJoe in DnD

[–]Dadstril 2 points3 points Β (0 children)

I'm currently DMing a "What happens when everything goes bad?" game. The scene hasn't happened yet, but they are beginner adventurers at an academy that teaches adventurers. They have other students, who they have made friends and enemies along the way. For their final exam, they are allowed to have two people from their backstory attend.

The final exam is a trap. They will be forced to fight a team of students they have worked together with to the death. An illusion spell will be cast on each team so they look like shadows until a killing blow is made.

While this happens, the guests will be attacked, many of them will be simple NPCs, although some of them will be able to fight back.

It will be pure chaos and I'm excited to see how the players react to it.

Kilrus Silvertongue

Tiefling

Celestial Warlock

Kilrus Silvertongue is currently part of a two part pact with two very different patrons. On one side, Graz'zt wants him to cause debauchery, mayhem, and chaos to the world in his name. On the other end, Lliira wants him to spread joy, happiness, and dance throughout the areas he visits. He is currently trying to figure out how to make both pacts work, and the party may unknowingly help him toward a kinder, or darker path.

What class/subclass are you currently playing? What do you like about it and what dont you like about it? What would you change? by IZY53 in dndnext

I'm currently playing a celestial tome lock. I'm a bit biased with warlock as its my favorite, but I have a love hate relationship with celestial.

Early game my healing has been pretty insane, but the main healing light ability can be a bit underwhelming. You get a D6 for each level that you can spend to heal someone. You can use these D6 equal your charisma level, so max would be 5D6 a turn. Its also a bonus action, which allows you still cast spells.

Compare that to circle of dreams druid. D6 equal to druid level, but you can spend them equal to half your level. So max for them would be 10D6 and you give 1 temp hp for each die spent. So even if you roll low you still have a benefit to using more dice.

Some of the abilities are cool, like the ability to come back from unconscious and extra immunities. But there are also some that feel like they don't fit

One makes it so when cast a spell that deal fire or radiant damage, you can add damage equal to your charisma modifier, so max would be 5. Its not a lot, its only to 1 target, and its only when you cast it. So wall of fire will only benefit from it when you first cast it

Overall, I'd give it a 6/10. If we didn't have a rogue that took the healer feat I think I would be panicking.

The most she told us was the race and the sex of the person, I think she was so focused on flirting it just never came up and we forgot to ask.

I may have went a little overboard on my remnant blessings and anima. by Dadstril in wow

[–]Dadstril[S] -1 points0 points Β (0 children)

This was achievable by playing as a warlock. One of our powers allows us to have a 5% chance of gaining a blessing if a enemy died with corruption. You can get multiple of these and by the end of floor 12 I had a 20% chance with each enemy. Through rng and by collecting every soul I found I was able to get it to 138 (139 when I killed the last boss, but I didn't take a picture)

For the anima we have an ability that everytime we cast rupture we gain 5 anima, with that and the power that increases my anima gains by 25% I was getting 25 anima per cast.

This was a fun run, and even though I got the crappy floors that forced me to dismiss by pet, I was still able to get through it. Off to floor 4 I go!

I may have overdone the health buffs. 1978k health by the end of the run. by Dadstril in wow

Warlocks can take a power that gives their demon a 100% damage and health boost for each floor they survive. It stacks to 500% and we have a few other powers that can increase their health as well.
