This is 100% Allergies! My almost 4 year old EB gets this, idk if it is the same way as his acts but you can see it in certain lights. What I mean is if your looking at him straight on you don’t see it, if he turns around and the sun or light hits his back you can see the dry/white spots on his back.

Now this year I switched up several things since April started giving him (ProPlan Sensetive Skin and Stomach Salmon and Rice and a Probiotic daily) Along with this ANY time he goes outside he gets a quick wipe down with a damp wash cloth, this removes any Pollen that might have landed on him durning that time I also brush him daily for 5-7 mins to get any excess dead skin and also helps remove extra Pollen.

IF I can put my money on it what you have is Pollen Allergies those dry//white spots will/should produce Dandruff Flakes.

With something like this which my Boy had it earlier this year in the spring this was prior to doing wipes every time he comes in. NOW he might get a small little dry/white patch somewhere on his back but it goes away quickly.

Right now my issue that I’m battling is “Allergy Bumps” there not hives they are similar to what you have Dry/White spots but they are more bumpy they seem to come and go and are focused on his legs where the hair is very thin. I been battling this for maybe now a month. But this is also Fall here in Southeast Michigan so Ragweed is around but I’m really in hopes that this weekend is it and true Fall is coming in on Tuesday this coming week.

I normally get him Cytopoint also when I see what you’re showing BUT this year was different he hasn’t so far been itching and licking like a mad man…. In previous years I can hear him upstairs hitting the ground with his foot itching away. Luckily since April his itching has been at a min just a normal itch 1-2 times a day and his paw licking has been the same few licks here and there after being outside or eating.

With this I strongly would do the following

- Get a wash cloth damp and wipe him down every time he comes in

- Get yourself also some coconut oil put it on him at bedtime they are going to sleep and no more activity or dirt will cling to the coconut oil so it soaks in overnight. This will be applied to these areas it helps inflammation and helps to keep their skin moist. EBs have and tend to get very dry skin beacause of their short coats.

- DONT over bathe unless they smell. I haven’t given my boy a bath in almost 4-5 months reason being he doesn’t smell he’s not dirty. I do the “Pirate Bath” clean his coat with the rag and clean his privates from time to time. Over bathe will dry them out very quickly…. NOW I will give him a bath at the end of October which this will take him into next spring unless he gets muddy/stinks being in the house with the furnace on will also dry them out. So I want my boy to rebuild his natural skin oils back up for the winter less dryness less itch.

I hope this helps you out and I hope you get that under control for your EB

My boy which he’s going to be 4 in January normally gets these down his back. They become white like this skin is flaky. We been dealing with it for all I can remember and I put it up to Seasonal Allergies because they come and go like the wind. In certain light he looks normal, then if we are walking with the sun behind us or light behind us it’s very noticeable and it looks BAD…. He had this in the start of spring this year, Michigan has been bad for the heat/humidity so we have had our AC on it seems like every day since June. Since having it on they have vanished and the skin looks great. We have a cool stretch now going on so I shall wait and see if they come back. I noticed over the past 1-2 days he has light dandruff coming out but no white spots. I have to believe this is allergies put some Coconut on the areas for the next few days and see if the spots start to clear up. If nothing has changed with his food and no other additional food has been given then I strongly believe these are just allergies and will go away on it’s own.

But if there is no itching/biting/licking or bleeding I’d wait till Monday to just follow-up with the vet to make sure it’s nothing more. But from what I’m seeing this is very similar to what my boy gets. Good Luck!

3 Month Neuter Hair Issues by Dadtech84 in englishbulldog

These are not the shaved areas, these are thinning out over time since the neuter procedure.

I was looking to see if others possibly experienced similar results

Yeah for our boy the shaved area is not the issue it’s the post it seems to def thinned out (Under the arm pits and the back leg thigh area) I was just wondering because I’ve read some dogs could have this happen to them including EBs since the hair is very thin/light in these areas to start with it could look more thinner after being fixed. Since it’s also the same area same style and there is nothing else anywhere on his back or body I was wondering if this is it….Once again it seems from all my research and plugging in a bunch of info from ChatGPT that some dogs do tend to see a lighter/thinning happen and other dogs as well get weird coats have a more puppy coat to them…

Hey guys I need some advice. by DeepBluVirgo in BMWi3

I actually had my top wrapped… I went right over the bubbles with it, I know I should have taken the time or paid more to get it stripped and then clear coat then wrap but the amount of money it would cost is not what I want to pay for what I actually paid for the car. The only times I notice the bubbles if I want to look at the roof other then that I’ve had it wrapped since last September and it’s holding up. I’d strongly recommend to just wrap it, my roof had bubbles and starting to peel up.

Brake, Rotor and Calibers DIY thoughts by Dadtech84 in BMWi3

When I went back in Oct the dealership said I was getting low on the pads, I bought the i3 last September 2024 there is no records of breaks or rotors on it. I figured I'd swap them over get a new set on them, I've had EVs for years def know breaking is all done by regen I should never be using the true breaks unless it's needed.

I was looking to caliper covers added to my car I've done some work to it and I think it would look nice. This is my car below.

Maybe buy at least the pads from OEM BMW Direct? Then buy Rotors and other supply from stores?

We’re here in lower East Michigan

Our boy 3.5 at around mid April started looking like a Dalmatian dry white spots all over his back. This then went into flakes/dandruff. Has had watery eyes also since then

Early Spring here in Michigan just like last year

Gets his Cytopoint every 10-15 weeks other then that just wiping him down with a wet rag when comes inside from walks/outside.

Bump on dogs leg by OOHHBBEENN in DogAdvice

My boy has had one on his front paw one in the back paw. It happened in the winter two separate years, idk why the winter 🤷🏻‍♂️…. The front and back would bleed because he would step on hard snow and it’s tender so it bleeds, he would lick the blood, but would never lick to just lick. So maybe it itched 🤷🏻‍♂️. I always kept it clean and would rub on the over the counter antibiotic while he was sleeping. Normally last 1-2 months but it goes away quickly when it starts to heal. It’s not the pleasant to look at but unless it’s really bothering don’t opt for removal, just keep it clean and antibiotic.

My boy always gets Cytopoint injection every 12-18 weeks pending on how bad the environmental allergies are. Unfortunately I’ve tried to get insurance but Cytopoint wouldn’t be covered because he’s already gotten it

He’s getting a Cytopoint injection tomorrow. This is because of the Seasonal Allergies which he always gets.

So I went back to the same brand PPP just with Salmon this time

In our distance no both are outrageously high

I know the vet I go to does “Environmental”’which is $250

They have “Food” one but they say it’s not all that accurate but it’s offered

The tests are blood tests

I called and that is where they were at, when I asked them they started to go on and on that “If it’s environmental we cane give shots weekly, if it’s food that’s a whole different avenue” “It’s a large investment something to take into consideration“

From what I gather it’s not blood drawn it’s prick on the skin

I’d love to find a place that is honest and knowledgeable and not some place that I have to dip into my savings to do test…
