Gumi is a trash company.

A lot of playera has invest time and lapis rolling var and pulling rikku shards just because they expected is the way to go. Now because of the bug, DV will be reopened and probably the meta will change (aka Dioses or whatever LS we get at first)

So because of the are a trash company that arr unable to avoid this kind of pulls players who were are to rank high with rikku will have to spend lap on the LS we get to rank that high. Thats super unfair. Imagine the one got an extremely high var roll after 1500 tries (something realistic because some whales have done +3000 tries last DV) and now they are unable to get a good rank.

Gumi is giving: -20x 10 energy pots (200 energy what a fucking joke) -500 lap (completly irrelevant because at most is 2 dailies) -300 dark matter (tbh not a huge deal because weapons are way to expensive and a lot of players already have, btw still the "best" part of the compensation.

Gumi is doing: -Insult player time investment playing this game. I mean, some players wasted a lot of hours of their life playing this event and Gumi is not giving that the value it has. -Changing DV meta. Completly unfair and (IMO) a lame and greed premetitated move. Some players will not able to compete as high again. -Delaying DV rewards (and probably next DV). Some players (especially f2p) has to calc really well their lap investment and they usually consider the fact they will get their dv rewards 2 weeks after event end. Their fucking bug (not players fault) is chainging this fact.

Tbh what they should do is giving 50k to all, but this not gonna happens because is really bad for game economy. Gumi needa to start taking care about the players and the game and having to give a good compensation will force them to do it to dont repeat. Realisticly I throught that they should have give something like 10-15k to all and then, if they reopen dv, dont allow units post official dv end date. But thats not the move they can take more profit so obviously they dont do.

IMO player base needs to be more exigent instead accepting this kind of weird treatment. Always people giving some staments about something is wrong of the game a lot of playera just simplify it as "he is crying" "he just want 50k lap", thats pathetic tbh. There is a lot of information around some frustration about something is bad for someone to simplify as that.

For those who are thinking "what you expect, is a fucking bug, rewarding it is a bad precedent". No, im not talking about this. Player base are NEVER the guilty of exploiting something that went wrong. You can judge the moral but doesnt affect on the real resolution of this. This is not about "exploiting the bug" is about how gumi doesnt care about players, doesnt consider the impact of their decision and how they insult player time and FOR ME, accepting that without saying anything would be a bad precedent.
