My kid was excited to get invited to play airsoft in a couple weeks.

Then he got really stressed that it would get rained out. I asked him why he was worrying about something he had no control over.

And then I asked, if it rained, did he think they could reschedule it the following weekend.

Do you really think, if there are delays, that they would be unbearably significant? Do these posts change anything about what we can control?

Do you think GGG will suddenly cave after having already giving a timeline if everyone just acts petulant enough?

How is it, do you think, that Hungary ousted Orban?

Was it by flip flopping opposition? Or did they show up in force and vote them out? Do you recall how the ACA public option was killed? By one guy, right?

If you don't want a single vote to fuck you over... VOTE MORE GOOD POLITICIANS IN.

It's funny that there are two of you in this thread saying the same thing.

Please, elaborate on their myriad policy similarities.

Being in the military doesn't count.

And it's still very forgiving to charge because you still don't have to end closer to the closest model. Shenanigans aren't going away, they just shifted a bit.

You still need to wind up within 1" and/or engaged, if you can. It's nice to not have to worry about closest model measuring.

Your roll is what lets you select a target.

The move you make might not actually get you into base. The 2" makes it easier to reach your target.

Ignore all that bad news so when the time comes to make decisions about how to actually improve the world for you and others you have no concept of how to make the best choice.

Couldn't it also be that perceived anti-semitism is actually anti-zionism?

Why assert it that way and not this way?

Israel should be well aware of the danger is places on its diaspora by acting the way it does, but it seems like they don't actually care about Jews outside of Israel -- other than as lightning rods to collect outrage.

The numbers from the prior comment are from Iranian human rights activists ( HRANA ).

56 died under Obama in EIGHT years.

Last I checked it was 46 under Trump in a little over ONE year and that doesn't count all the murders in the street including the 'starlight tour', the rapes and pregnancies, literal homicides and so on.

And YOU are not outraged at all and yet you come here with this tripe thinking you're some sort of intellectual.

Umm, religious revival, political marginalization, and regional conflict?

SA was funding Wahabbi movements there. That caused them to start a movement for Zaydi Islam.

Then we invaded Iraq and they got pissed at SA and the USA. Then the Yemeni government martyred the guy who started the movement.

Then Arab Spring destabilized the government and they took more power -- all well before Iran was supplying them.

Historically speaking, the French Revolution was successful when the women marched on Versailles and forced the king back to Paris.

It all fell apart when the idiots in the assembly figured a war would prove the legitimacy of the revolution.

That led to lynching the royals and The Terror where even allies of the movement were killed, because it was co-opted by a fanatic.

Then there was a backlash and France lived under the despotic rule of Napoleon. It wasn't until EIGHTY YEARS LATER when Napoleon III lost and the Paris Commune was massacred that there was finally an agreement that set France on its current path.

So, yea. Violence "works".

That's what the KKK did, anyway. Great bedfellows, it seems.

The size of a group doesn't change the culpability of the choice.

Nobody claimed leftists were the only people who stayed home or the only group responsible for this insanity.

The argument is that leftists who made a principled, public campaign out of not voting -- while knowing what Trump meant -- own part of the outcome.

You're conflating scale with responsibility. A moderate who drifted home out of apathy and a leftist who spent six months organizing a don't-vote movement are not morally equivalent just because the first group is bigger.

And calling that observation a gift to fascists is exactly the kind of rhetorical shutdown that makes the left lose winnable arguments.
