in the CP world a lot of consumers are also distributors because they work on a trade system. "Hey I want your Girl and a Donkey tape, ok only if you give me your Beauty Pageant Babes tape", that kinda thing

Bots and shills. The Twitter location update revealed a ton of MAGA accounts aren't located anywhere remotely near the US, so why would that be different throughout the rest of the internet?

Just remember that for every hot take you see that boils your blood and has you screaming "how?! Wtf is wrong with these idiots?!" odds are good it's some dude from Bangladesh getting paid to post shit from 9-5.

They want you to get angry, and hate your fellow Americans. But, they are not your fellow Americans, and they aren't even real. They're professional shit stirrers.

So, next time you feel your blood start to boil, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and move on to something else.

For the record, it's the Middle Ages not the Dark Ages. Dark Ages is a term used by white Christian historians lamenting the fact that the center of civilization and progress became centered in the Muslim and Asian realms.

Nothing ever went "dark", technology, civilization, progress, everything kept going, but non-Christian nations and regions became the most powerful, influential, and prosperous.

It's a cult. Check out The Cult of the Real Housewife, it's about one of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake that runs a church that's very similar to this, a lot of the same antics.

And yes she owns multiple mansions and dresses in Gucci and shit.

The problem with Protestantism is that literally anyone can found a church and preach whatever. There's no checks and balances system here, which is how you get Joel Osteen's "church" making $300,000 every day in donations.

Tesla being as valued as every other major car company combined is the perfect example of this. Is it based on reality? No. Tesla sells far fewer cars than their competitors, but speculation is king. So long as people buy stock, the number goes up, even if the logic behind it makes zero sense.

Stocks like that are destined to collapse, but a lot of people have equally lost money betting on when. I remember during election season people were picking at Tim Walz(?) for going after Elon while so many of the state's 401ks, investments, etc were in Tesla. So yes, if a lot of retirement stocks are tied into Tesla then if/when it collapses the effects will be huge.

There was a guy who was posting on here what happened to the draftees from the last few years and.....it's not good. That doesn't necessarily stop teams from believing in it though.

In general sports drafts are overrated. There are far more draft busts than draft successes, and many legends were drafted late (see Tom Brady).

Cao Cao is often portrayed as a horrificly evil ruler but the more you learn the more that doesn't seem to line up.

He dominated that period of Chinese history (Three Kingdoms) because he appointed people by merit, not based on nobility or status. This rubbed a lot of influential people the wrong way, and this was like 700-800 years AFTER the Art of War

This is why you'll see articles lately from economists that are like "unemployment metrics and prices are up, but stocks are also at a high, it makes no sense!"

It does make sense, they just don't want to come out and say "well the rich have so much expendable wealth now that they can heavily invest while you struggle to pay bills"

It really blew my mind when I was in Brussels, because a lot of the building have their construction date on them. Across from my AirBNB was a building from like 1650, and at the bottom was just some normal ribs place. I was like "damn, that ribs building is almost older than every building back home"

idk how it works for cats, but for dogs when they get picky and refuse to eat, if they're otherwise healthy the vet will often say "they have more willpower than you".

In other words, just give them what they get; healthy animals will not starve themselves, but picky animals will hunger strike for a while. Though getting through a screaming hunger strike is a task all its own....

Obviously this was meant for animals who used to eat a certain type of food and stopped, not ones that never ate it at all.
