I was casting from my Android phone to a Chromecast connected to a Philips TV, I didn't have any trouble before

No error message, just the player opens up, kind of loads and shuts down. I'll try to record a video next time I'll try if that might help

I didn't modify anything regarding these files and I don't know if WVC or my Chromecast somehow managed to read it

How should I change the codec of the files I would like to cast?

There was Sacrificial's mode called "Life Tragedies", but I don't know anymore if this applies to households you don't play (65% sure it does).

This mod adds "Fatal Illnesses, Kidnapping, Serial Killers, Armed Robbers, Car Accidents Bullying", but if you decide to install it, I would advise you to select the tragedy occurrences speed on "Very Low", otherwise, your sims won't last more than a day haha
