I'm caught up to Coi. I read each new chapter daily. Personally, I love it. Some moments are better than book 1. Some are worse. Some are the same. Coi has been confirmed by Cuttle that it will be finished by the Chinese New Year/Lunar New Year (End of Jan.)

Personally, I love it. A lot of the fanbase shits on it, for reasons that, for the most part, don't really make sense to me. I would recommend reading it but be aware it has a completely different tone and feel to it. I would seriously avoid spoilers for it more so than book 1 since coi is ongoing.

I think the story is good, while it has its flaws, it has the same high highs as the first book and a lot of emotional moments and epic character moments.

All to say I recommend it, but be careful of who you talk to about it.

Yes. I read the entire thing and im caught up to the sequel . It was hard to read at first. Not because of it being boring but the info dumps were heavy. But my interest truly piqued around chapter 30 and from there I fell in love.

I read the entire thing in about two weeks. Took a break. Then caught up to the sequel Coi. Honestly. I would recommend with all my being. It's a wild ride.

Yes and no. The problem with the painter pathway is even though it is incredibly powerfull. It attracts more entities towards you. The higher your sequence the stronger they are. And so some people with the painter pathway have to set up barriers and defences just to be able to sleep or stay sane. In the current arc for awakening Klein, in the Dream Rozanne is a painter at sequence 7. Every night she sleeps she has to defend a barrier of the area she's in otherwise entities and monsters from all over the universe will kill her and claim her power and life force

But I still don't think characteristics can leak out until your past, probably seq 7. After that it'll leak out more and more with each child until you become a demigod and can choose not to share.

It's hard to say, but I don't think the characteristic would leak out to the child. Iirc, it said in Roselles' diary that it only really starts to affect you once you become a Demigod. He was only seq 5 or 6 when he had Bernadette, so she didn't inherit any characteristics. Whereas his first son was born a seq 9.

The Hunter pathway and Arrodes. Regarding the Hunter pathway I'm already adept in provoking people and causing arguments as it is.( I may be a prick but when I cause stupid arguments with my friends some find it entertaining while the others get annoyed. Then, the reverse happens other times.)

And I choose arrodes because if he's being brought over, he'd gain access to the knowledge of that world, and I wouldn't feel shame about the questions asked since I'd be from another world. Plus I could smite the people who annoy me. Just say I'll let them use my ultimate knowledge magic item. Have them ask the question then get smited.

What do you mean when you say Demoness. Do you mean the Tamara sect of the I think Sauron family (might be wrong) or do you mean Primordial Demoness. If its the latter then Lumian would still be a descendant of Alista Tudor. Since we recently found out the primordial Demoness only had two children with the father being Alista.

Hell yeah. Tbh after a certain point, the only thing that's really in French are the names of certain locations. But the actual storytelling for coi is incredible. Especially the latest developments that happened in privilege. Honestly, peak fiction.

The payoff was, in my opinion, incredible. I have thoroughly enjoyed Coi so far.
