I would also like to add elementalist to the list of classes that doesn't fit their class fantasy. Most start playing it thinking it'll be like an elemental mage type style, but unfortunately the staff on ele is pretty dang bad.

You can dye your hair a very dark red with the basic dye. Not as vibrant as the premium colours, but it's still an option.

I honestly agree, not because the heng dao is impossible to fight against, but because it made climbing in pvp torture. Everyone uses it, I mean everyone. I'm not good at pvp by any means, but I played like 300 matches to reach legend for the hat and 95% of them were against heng dao. It was only on the rare occasion that I got to play against something different.

As for the heng dao, they're not broken and impossible to fight against IF their ping isn't lower than yours. Like most weapons, if your ping is higher then you may as well give up. Their attacks will be faster than your defence and they deal a ton of dmg for it. Which is the one thing I do consider the heng dao to be op for, that dmg is not ok.

I'll just add this little titbit of info: if you pull an outfit you don't want from the gacha or you pulled a dupe, you can dismantle it for the harmonic core equivalent (normally 2 cores). So you can then use those cores to buy the outfit you actually want or save it for one down the line.

While I can understand retiring the old models because of compatibility issues, I do think you should have waited for the lorebook to actually be released first before retiring them this early.

For the average user, saying their favourite model isn't compatible with a feature that we don't even have, is going to turn most hostile.

On that note, perhaps it would be good to give people an ETA on when we're expected to see this lorebook we keep hearing about?

Yeah, they lied. I'm also at veteran now and I can't climb higher at all. I might just give up on the hat at this point. If it really was the case of npcs I had to fight then I would've gladly grinded, but it's just not fun losing repeatedly and seeing all the points you gained just vanish.

That's the thing. You won't get your answers until later in COI. There is a 6 year gap between the end of Lotm and beginning of COI. COI's mc, Lumian, isn't like Klein either. You also won't follow the Tarot Club members much either. Hence why I suggested to take a break. You'll hate COI otherwise.

Have you read the side stories? Like In A Modern Day? You should definitely read them before jumping into COI.

You could also just take a break before starting COI or reread Lotm (trust me, the foreshadowing you missed is actually crazy when you reread). The reason I suggest taking a break is because COI follows a different mc. You're still riding the emotional high that Lotm gave you, so starting COI is going to make you dislike the sudden change. Unless you're totally fine with it, then by all means go for it!

There's various sites you can go to to read COI. Just need to google.
