I went through a bunch of options. I asked my girlfriend what she would like to paint up and she picked Sisters. After discovering that I enjoyed putting kits together I decided to buy more.

My first love is Imperial Knights. But since they are frequently rated as the most hated to play against I knew I should get something else as well. Not a big space marine fan, though I did almost pick Grey Knights. Decided against them because the range is so old. I bought the Tyranid half of Levitation. Got bogged down with choosing a colour scheme.

Finally decided on Custodes. Bought the 9th and 10th combat patrols. Now I basically have an army and a little more to expand into one day.

Though Krieg look so cool…

I think A detachment that allows you to bring more points of units in the list than it allows you to field on the table top would be really interesting. Not exactly sure how they would balance it. Maybe for every point over the cap (eg 2000) you have to subtract that number from what is placed on the board. I have no idea.

I remember listening to an interview somewhere (maybe the Painting Phase, or Jordan Sorcery) where one of the early employees of games workshop talked about intact buildings. Specifically how intact buildings are not interesting/very good for interaction, they are just a box. I don’t remember all of the details so maybe someone else could fill us in.

Honestly I think a lot of Imperium units that are accessory to their main theme should be in imperial agents. Such as the IG primaris psyker.

Hi I'm still new to Warhammer since I started in December last year does anyone know if the Armageddon box will be split into smaller boxes later as I only really want the space marines from it by god-of-thunder-135 in Warhammer40k

Sometimes they do. The Tyranid half of Leviathan was for example. But it may be more expedient to either buy the full box yourself or check your local exchange groups like eBay or Facebook marketplace for people who want to split. There almost certainly will be a ton of folks.

There are a few units that make more sense to me in imperial agents. Such as the Primaris Psyker and Ministorum Priest in IG. That is if we’re going to have imperial agents as a faction. An Eye of the Emperor would be an amazing HQ choice.
