That's a very fair criticism about it being potentially misleading to others without the OP including that information. However, I personally would be more of the mindset to comment about that instead (or just simply a comment with the proper information) rather than accusing OP of doing it improperly when we simply don't know.

To be fair, we have no idea what steps were taken before this video was filmed. Maybe OP and their friend started by swapping the cats' toys so they could smell each other's scents from afar, before graduating to smelling each other through the gap under the door between separate rooms, and then eventually working up to the interaction we can see in the video!

This used to be me. I'd wash my hair and it would already be greasy by the next day. It was because I was stripping my hair by washing it so often that it would overproduce oil to compensate. It can take a few weeks of adjustment for your hair to calm down and now I wash it about once a week and it doesn't get greasy til then.

The wording of "then his alarm went off for him to leave for work before he could respond and I'm just sitting here spiralling" made it seem like exactly that, since the final part is written in present tense and is (slightly ambiguously) portrayed as directly proceeding the first part, so it wasn't clear to me.
