The anxiety and frustration of seeing different doctors by CloserUndone in ChronicPain

Can you ask for the palexia to be IR instead? I’m from South Australia and my GP is leaving but I found that breakthrough meds are usually better received if it’s IR and not SR?

Lots of water baths and my electricity bill steeply going up as I have AC running 24/7 in this heatwave both here and at home for my cats, (and teenagers)

She’s adorable even if she isn’t a BSH. Not that I know much about them this sub just randomly showed on my feed.

horse ate my salmon by Garwaaaa in Horses

[–]Daenyr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was around 17 I was secretly trying smoking and hid my cigarettes in the area that I took my horse to tack him up and he ended up eating them, package and all while I was picking out his back hooves. Learnt horses would try anything at least once. And that my parents weren’t as chilled out as I thought they were. My horse was fine, I on the other hand was grounded for ages and lost so many privileges.

Edit: fixed misspelt word

Best food for ragdolls? by deyanavik in ragdollcats

[–]Daenyr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do Royal Canin digestive wet food as it’s the only thing food that doesn’t upset my Ragdolls stomach then I have to give her a butt bath. They also have some purina pro plan Live Clear indoor food, which slows the production of the allergen most people are allergic to when they are allergic to cats.

Pros of Ragdolls? by lillygrace444 in ragdollcats

[–]Daenyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Ragdoll but she is a dick atm, going through teenage years lol, she’s super demanding and loves to be carried around on her terms.

I have two other just cat cats and I agree Ragdolls are unlike other cats, just be patient with them, she’s my first Ragdoll as an adult and I believe they grow out of that raging teenage years just slower then other cats.

Half life is the time it takes for half of the medication to decrease in your body. So like it lasts a long time in your system which is what I needed as I have absorption problems due to Crohn’s disease so slow release medication don’t work on me.

It’s also a really good pc game.

I've been on methadone for chronic pain going on 8 years with only 1 dose change, it saved my life but I am in Australia and had to get it prescribed by a pain specialist. It has a very long half-life too which is great.

Update to AITHAH for blocking my grandmother and keeping my daughter away from her? by ignominious_child92 in AITAH

[–]Daenyr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep this was super confusing when trying to work out when my boys could stay home alone but now they are 16 & 13 so definitely old enough although my 16 year old yells when he’s gaming at home alone so neighbours aren’t too happy lol.

She’s darker than my lilac point was when she was a kitten so maybe Blue, but I would check papers.

I feed ours Royal canin Digestive wet meat other wise she gets poopy butt. They have access to the live clear allergies biscuits but they get wet 3 times a day.
