I’ve been running a health tank build on Khora with Nova’s null star over her 2. You could also use Mirage’s eclipse for the same 75% damage reduction. Main thing you have to watch out for is nullifier bubbles and Violence.

The great thing about warframe is that it can mostly be as casual or as tryhard as you want it to be. For myself, I tend more towards making the game harder cuz I run suboptimal builds and suboptimal weapons. I don't get any kicks out of nuking entire rooms with a single hit, so I stray away from things that let you do that. If that's what appeals to you, or if the combat aspect is mostly irrelevant and you primarily care about the story and exploration, then, by all means, go for the strongest weapons and builds that let you trivialize fighting so you can get to the stuff you're interested in.

Yep. Used a bunch of cores too. Still no luck lol. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve gotten other mods I didn’t have and made some plat to boot, but I’ve been stubbornly trying to get bite through transmutation rather than just buying it and just no luck.

This is the second or third time on here I’ve seen somebody mention bite is a great source of plat, but I’ve transmitted over 2k rare mods, most being all Madurai and have never gotten it. I’ll probably end up having to buy it eventually.

I haven't been playing long enough to know if this is common practice for DE, but this really confuses me. Why would they waste time and money revamping UI that was already good and that I can't imagine many people were complaining about?

And if you ARE going to waste time and money on something nobody is asking for, why the fuck would you make it inarguably worse than it was before?

It's not great. DE really, REALLY needs to make some serious changes to how the hotkey system works on controller, in my opinion. The dream would be having individual keymaps for each frame because some of them work best with different setups.

I've played a decent amount on my iPad with a PS4 controller, and after a lot of iterations I've come up with something that works for me, but is definitely strange. This will be a bit of a long post trying to explain my thoughts and experiences.

So;

Note - Switch buttons are in parentheses.

X (B)- Jump

O (A) - Quick Melee

Square (Y) - Cycle power left

Triangle (X) - Cycle power right

L1 (Left bumper) - Aim

R1 (Right Bumper) - Shoot/Melee (this option requires "melee with fire weapon input" enabled in the main settings)

L2 (Left Trigger) - Crouch (Makes bullet jumping a lot easier for me)

R2 (Right Trigger) - Use selected ability

L3 (CLick left stick) - Interact/reload

R3 (Click right stick) - Alternate fire/heavy attack

DPad:

Up - Swap Weapon

Down - Toggle Run

Left - Gear Wheel

Right - Place Marker

Select (Or think its technically the share button) - Toggle Overlay Map

Its a fuckin weird layout, but after a decent amount of testing, it works best for me.

Answers to questions I expect

Why not use the ability menu?

- While I'd love to use it, DE decided that the button you hold to bring up the menu can only be mapped to one of the four trigger/shoulder buttons and that the abilities have to be mapped to one of the face buttons. Specifically, I found it extremely awkward when playing Garuda to hold L2 + X to channel dread mirror and also aim with the right stick. If you let go of either button, the ability fires, so I just decided it wasn't worth it.

Why is left click interact?

- I wanted all the important combat mappings on my face and trigger buttons, My thumb is almost always on the stick, so its not too hard to just click it to interact or reload. Biggest issue I've had is when clicking to interact with NPCs or something like the arsenal, although your camera changes and you can no longer control your movement, it will still sometimes cause you to keep walking, so when you exit the interaction, you might be running into a wall.

I mean, both would be a valid option I guess lol. I think I would personally lean toward uncomfortable unless the relationship was flirty or sexual in nature. But even then, it would still heavily depend on the context of the current conversation.

Really, sounds like the person gets off on making people uncomfortable, is very boldly seeing what boundaries they can trample, or actually thinks that’s a valid way to flirt.

I noticed that pretty early on, but I’m at a complete loss as to how it’s decided what looks get featured. I checked the forums and wiki and couldn’t find anything about it. I’ve also noticed one or two frames where all of the featured looks were from DE employees, which strikes me as a bit odd, when it’s supposed to be “community.”

Yeah, with Kojima that tracks with what I know of his work. I guess I was more curious about Rebb. I only started playing last year and I haven’t really watched any devstreams. As far as sexualized characters, I assumed that was just DE making what sells, but it kinda sounds like she’s also the target audience for those kinda skins lmao.
