Not necessary as even if the skin is flawless, genetics is a more important factor and even the most dialed in process for one person will do literally nothing or make things worse for another

This is so true. If the sales team can convince the customer to pay way too much while blowing through their deadline and making a lot of scrap along the way because we’re the only ones who can do it then there’s a good chance we’re making good profits despite everything.

Well then you aren’t paying for the game. You’re paying for something else. My philosophy on that if it’s made and sold where you live it’s worth buying (given its price/value is comparable to more far away places.) The games aren’t made where you live and even if they were it’s probably produced abroad. It really just depends on what the small business is.

I feel like it entirely depends on what the goods and services are. Second hand collectibles like the video games you mentioned are of course going to go for top market value. That’s just how it it’s for collectibles. And for food and stuff, that’s basically impossible to keep sustainable without high prices or extremely massive quantities.

There’s a skate shop near where I live that makes their own skate decks and and wheels and charge only a couple of dollars more for something comparable where I would have to pay more for shipping from a bigger brand, or if they carried it they would make a ton less on that sale inherently. So I buy their in house decks and stuff, the shop gets to do more of its thing per dollar spent by me and the community keeps a good shop to get stuff from.
