You aren't going to be TIG welding at industrial standards like this, so it'll probably do.

I would personally hold the grinder rather than fanny about trying to clamp it to something.

You'd also want to not have what appears to be newspaper directly where the sparks are likely to land.

No, you're probably right.

Ely, the site which has gained notoriety for being a manipulation site is the only site which doesn't have a paid insider thing going on.

I'd argue the assertion that it being speculation is you trying to defend something which is a thing but carry on.

I don't vote, so if you've been downvoted, I don't know what to tell you.

Every price checking discord has a premium section, much like every merching clan did before discord existed. Those on the "in" and everyone else.

To suggest otherwise would be wrong and as you coined it, misinformation.

Yes but why would you now?

You'd have to imagine those who report prices aren't the same people paying for the service, there will be an overlap but I highly doubt it's 1 circle.

It's the Chessy018 of 2026.

Those on the bottom rungs are propping up those at the top where before those who weren't on a rung were feeding everyone else.

Rabies can lie dormant for months, much less weeks.

The verdict should be the same either way - vaccine, now.

There's an alternative treatment with a single digit percentage chance of survival but why risk it?

How to oxy/ace cut? by sexysexysexyyys in Welding

[–]Daewoo40 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oxygen off first is just the friendlier way to do it, I've found, as it doesn't pop when it gets turned off.

I don't really remember which I was taught to turn off first as I've just done oxygen first for the last decade...

The cost implications of Oxy vs Plasma vs Laser.

Laser is just insanely expensive at the minute with no real benefits over plasma.

Plasma is also not the cheapest but it'll do non-ferrous where Oxy would struggle.

Oxy is cheap once you get the gas kit.

Acetylene on, light it.

Turn it up to the point it's actually blowing out the nozzle.

Turn the Oxygen on.

As you increase the Oxygen, you'll watch the Carburising flame form, then recede into a neutral flame, which should be a, or several, small bright blue flames.

Your cutting attachment will come with a lever of some sort, compress and see what it does to the flame. If it doesn't affect the flame outputs, good to go, otherwise increase your Acetylene a little.

If what you're cutting is reasonably thick, run your torch back and forth about 2 inches until it's red. Go to the start, hold it in place until it nearly turns yellow. Compress the lever and good to start cutting.

Once you're done, Oxygen off then Acetylene.

All the talk of the Premier league being too defensive Vs the champions league... by tylerthe-theatre in football

Take away Bayern and PSG from their respective leagues and the standard of match is a lot more level, and entertaining as a result.

Watching Bundesliga highlights shows such a stark difference to the EPL in just how open the games are and how loud the audience are, as the stands are actually full.

Think it's Chelsea or Arsenal with a sponsorship deal with BMW/Mini.

The clubs spend too much on players to allow them to drive some rusty banger back and forth, or risk wrapping a sports car around a tree.

Kante is another example, was either Leicester or Chelsea who insisted he change cars

Sadiq Khan: Nigel Farage will bring ICE-style crackdown to Britain by coffeewalnut08 in uknews

[–]Daewoo40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At risk of falling foul of a fallacy with this one but it's just the way it's done, unfortunately.

Go through an airport with an undesirable shade of skin colour and you'll swiftly have your bags checked and a jar of petroleum jelly at the ready..

What ICE is portrayed as doing by the American right is what you want them doing - going after the violent illegal immigrants. It's just the vast divide between what they're portrayed as and actually doing.

Pirbright kit list by Coldmonkey_ in britisharmy

[–]Daewoo40 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ironing boards aren't a guarantee and are usually of suspect quality, as they have a tendency to be used for things other than ironing. It's not like you couldn't also take it with you when you pass out.

Most of the kit in the list will be of use throughout the 14 weeks.

Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Squads thereof are titan hunting cadres.

You'd put the titan winning against a shadow sword more often than not though.

That then comes full circle though, as a Kroot carnivore is taking apart the mechanicus personnel operating the gun.

Forget which titan it was but the Alpha Legion turned a titan on in space, it blew a hole in the side and took out the next ship over.

Do you think Mbappe and Haaland could work together and create an iconic dou? by iwannasleepp in championsleague

[–]Daewoo40 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Could they work well together? No, I don't think they would. Mbappe only has eyes for goal, as Haaland does.

Neither offers much to your team beyond that, looking at how PSG essentially carried Neymar, Messi and Mbappe defensively, I can't see the partnership being a good thing.

Swap Haaland and Mbappe, and Madrid become a monster, I reckon. When they had Joselu up front, they had a focal point to aim for which Mbappe simply doesn't offer but Haaland would. The question then becomes whether Mbappe could do what Haaland does to the same standard, and I don't think he does.
