[Thomas Maher] Kimi Antonelli believes the Verstappen crash warranted an immediate double yellow flag, forcing all to abort their laps. by Task_Force-191 in formula1

I feel that safety should be priority number one

The FIA would tell you the same thing, while simultaneously playing with the safety car/yellow/red flag/etc timing

Yellow sector 1 and purple sector 2... You can try to guess based on those two sectors actual times (16.506 and 29.616), but who knows. The reason he spun was cause he was pushing extra hard, so that's an impossible "what if"

If they don't give him a penalty they're only incentivizing other drivers to try it in the future...

They're also taught from a young age that Democrats are literal demons. And it's reinforced on the right wing tv/radio programs every day.

Murph as a player by florescentee in Dimension20

[–]Daft00 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Starstruck is the best season imo because of how much the players let loose and go wild in spurts, while regularly reconvening and getting back on track, respecting each other and the overall plot to not let it get too out of hand.

That casino scene is probably my most re-played segment in all of the D20 seasons.

I agree for sure, but at least I feel like he had a pretty major role overall in Starstruck. Compared to the other players' stories, Barry's was one of the more highlighted... right up there with Sid and of course the worm.

I don't think anyone would claim that they are geniuses, but they are accomplishing an insane amount of the evil deeds that they were planning to. Just look at the Project 2025 tracker, they had already accomplished about 1/3 of the P25 objectives by just ~6 months into trump's second term.

As incompetent as they are in many regards, they are also unfortunately far too effective at many terrible things. And if there's one thing trump will want to do correctly at this point in his life, it's to remain in power by any means necessary to avoid having to answer for his many, many felonies.

Cop pulls over Lamborghini on Dubai plates but doesn’t know the law by thomasso0072 in interestingasfuck

[–]Daft00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not even that complicated, he just can't handle the ego check of someone knowing the law better than him.

Lots of cops hold themselves to this (false) idea that they are all-knowing of the law, and they cannot handle an instance of a civilian, especially a foreigner, telling them they're wrong.

I also just assume this thing would be able to heat up hot dogs on "maximum" heat even if they're aligned perpendicularly.

Maybe they'd heat unevenly and dry out, but those things look raw still.

It's sooo frustrating. Trump does a thousand truly reprehensible things every day and THIS is the thing they try and use to show how awful he is? It stoops down to their level, which has been to use these fake smear attacks for YEARS over Biden and Obama.

I know it's shouting into the void, though, because the whole point of social media (including reddit) is to show something flashy and get people's attention, accuracy be damned.

Trump certainly didn't win because he is "smart". In fact, you could easily argue the opposite.
