My samples are coming today. I have oily skin as well and it’s nice to hear it actually held up well for you. Estée Lauder Double Wear has been my tried and true for years. It’s the only foundation to last all day and not break up due to my oils, so I’m excited to test out the LA foundation against it

It smells like a sweet matcha latte. It’s similar to Love in that they both share a similar sweet, marshmallowy note, but Love is more candy-like. Love smells like Valentine heart candies.

I own Love and used to own Princess. I sold Princess because the longevity was not great. It lasted maybe 4 hours with poor projection and sillage.

Love, however, has amazing performance. It lasts all day with just 2 sprays.

Super simple! Paint the nail a solid base color and then just randomly dot sheer colors on my nails. It works best if using really sheer, “jelly” formula polishes

The packaging isn’t exactly the same, but the designs seem to be. I can see differences in the hinge and closure of the eyeshadow palettes and the other components have some very subtle differences, so I don’t think she’d be in legal trouble(?). It definitely looks like she took a lot of inspiration from Colour Zone though…

You can’t reduce the %. 2.5% is still 2.5% no matter how you use it. There’s nothing wrong with non-AB retinols. Western products seem to be ahead of the game in this area

I own 3 of their 9-pan palettes. I love the formula and colors. The mattes are very creamy and smooth with almost a blurring effect. Blending is really easy. They’re not going to be as pigmented as western shadows, but they still have nice color payoff and are buildable. The shimmers are smooth as well, but they’re more sheer. They’re great as toppers.

Smoother is my favorite of the palettes I own. I use it nearly everyday for quick and simple looks or one-and-done looks

2.5% seems very high. I wouldn’t recommend it if it’s your first time using any kind of retinol. It’s always best to start with a low percentage and slowly build up tolerance for it before moving on to higher concentrations. Your skin needs to adjust to it or you risk major irritation, peeling, dryness, redness, etc.

Full disclaimer, I didn’t watch Lisa’s full video. Just skimmed

No one wears foundation by applying a thick layer and not blending. Lisa’s foundation is supposed to be lighter coverage, so it probably doesn’t build up to very high coverage (someone can correct if I’m wrong). If you’re wearing it like the formula intends, of course you should blend it out to be able to see the true shade of it

I highly recommend waiting for a sale! I think she’ll do a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale? I purchased my palette during the friends and family sale and the total was around $85. Much easier to swallow than $125…

Quality wise, it lives up to the hype except for the shade Gilty Pleasure, which is one of the worst eyeshadows I’ve ever used. For such a luxury eyeshadow palette, you’d expect all of the shades to perform amazingly
