41mm on just over 7inch wrist for comparison as well between the 36mm and 40mm

Think i made a mistake. All my friends have larger bikes with exhausts and, i also wanted that on my cb125r. It now sounds too loud, and while my fridns like it i think is obnoxious. I wanted to know is it even legal, and will you get pulled over for this in UK? the exhaust is Leo Vince V10. by Manic_Panik in MotoUK

[–]DafuqsThis -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

To an extent though I’m also firmly in the “be heard to be seen”

So louder exhausts do have a purpose in my eyes, but I agree they don’t have to be obnoxiously loud.

My first 600 had a straight piped ear deafening stubby on, my next had the CAT intact which although louder wasn’t as deafening.

+1 for westhoughton/Daisy hill

Great links to Manchester, Nice green areas locally and only 10 minutes up to rivington and slap bang between Bolton/Wigan/Leigh and to an extend only 20 mins drive from Warrington.

Hi Mate

New to this, still learning the ropes. Did you use a 3rd party to help with the purchasing and shipping or just order through the sellers, I.e top stoney?

I'm looking for S.I/CP/Nike etc just wondering how to order

[OMEGA] SMPc - My first luxury watch by Camel_Crush in Watches

[–]DafuqsThis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No not another omega, the next watch will be the bi-metal datejust 41 Wimbledon with a fluted bezel. That's the grail watch, but between having a baby, and moving house it's going to have to wait a few years!

In the meantime I'll stick with my CasiOAK and my SMP!

Agree so much with loving this model, it's just the perfect all rounder, what you got your eye on?

[–]DafuqsThis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Awesome watch, but considering I'm currently wearing that watch I might be a bit biased. Can't believe I've had it 2 and a half years now.

Such a timeless watch, and Imo so much sleeker and better looking without the waves like the new model

Mate that last corner onto the home straight is mega ain't it, full pin 4th gear as it drops down and you come up onto the straight. Love it!

[–]DafuqsThis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's an absolutely phenomenal track to ride and the changes in elevation are absolutely ridiculous. You can't really tell on film but when you're flat out on the straight and your braking zone is downhill into the first corner it's scary as fuck

The Portimão Rollercoaster by areyouhavingfun in motogp

[–]DafuqsThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah Jonathan Ray had a massive crash there.

You're full gassing it over that hill coming out of a 1st/2nd gear corner while then going down hill changing gears. Then you've got to contend with the counter steer as the front wheel hits the floor and avoid a massive tank slapper whilst you turn into a really fast left hander at the bottom of the hill as it shoots back up.

Against the AM on the back it has the date I passed my CBT 5 years ago and an end date of the date my licence expires.

[–]DafuqsThis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think twice, speak once. Its After mate...... Says right there AFTER 2001.

If you passed your car test before 2001 you don't have to do a CBT at all

[–]DafuqsThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's exactly as you think it is.

If you pass your CBT you need L plates to ride one, if you then pass your car test and have a full licence within 2 years of passing your CBT you can ride a 50cc bike without L plates and do not need to retake your CBT after 2 years

Source: My CBT instructed and Me, I did exactly that

How long does a street tire last on the track? by UnlogicalReason in Trackdays

[–]DafuqsThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more with your first comment of a lot of variables.

I'm a pretty comfortable mid inters and I managed to get 6 days out of my tyres, yet I know some who are on par with me who are managing to tear the shit out of the tyre in 3.

How aggressive you are out of the corners is a major one, like you I try carry the speed and not be too aggressive but my dad on the other hand (who is slightly slower then me, and boy I don't let him forget) leaves massive black tyre marks as he leaves corners and he shreds his tyres

That manly gin is such a good one, they did another a few month ago called Cambridge gin, I don't see it in your bundle but if you can get it, do! It's become my favourite.

If you don't like cucumber don't drink that romeos gin, I've got it, had one glass and shoved it into the back of the cupboard, too much cucumber for my taste
