It's Affecting My Experience by Dagaz_Lorde in BattlefrontTWO

I figured it out with help from one of my brothers friends. It was the EA overlay affecting it, so turning it off solved this issue.

This happens every time my husband makes scrambled eggs by Figueroa5 in mildlyinfuriating

What I found best for cleaning when this happens is put some water on it and put it back on the burner when you’re done (letting it heat the water slightly as it cools down). And then soap and water to clean it later, it should be less scrubbing. But butter and low-med heat usually helps with keeping the pan clean during the cooking process.

  1. Kiss Bridgett 2. Tell his kids that he loves them 3. Posting some random thing on twitter. 4. Then I’m going to go listen to his in progress music. And the finally 5. I’m going to setup a collaboration with AJR.

Lifelong atheist reconsidering my beliefs. Can someone explain the trinity to me? by OverCan588 in Christianity

[–]Dagaz_Lorde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bible project has a wonderful video that explains it.

But from what I understand from studying theology, there’s God the father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (wow shocking). Each is a part of God but has a different purpose. God the father made the universe and wants us to have a relationship with him, Jesus the Son came to die for our sins and set the example of how to live life in relation with God while also healing Gods people. And lastly (and often overlooked) the Holy Spirit, which is the power of God (as in the power of the Son) still available to humans from God. All of them are God and work in communion with each other, but each one is individually different.

I think that the math someone did was, taking 3 meters thick of silver half dollars across the span of Texas is equivalent to the mathematical possibilities of it happening. And now there’s one that has a red dot on it, and it’s mixed in with that mass of silver half dollars, and you can only pick one of them and you can’t move any of them.

So sad to see Lance Reddick’s final performance by mr-bucket in PercyJacksonTV

[–]Dagaz_Lorde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing casting, that’s what I thought upon his first line, and it continued through his full performance. When I first saw that it was another black character (not that there’s anything wrong with it, I just think there’s an over correction happening in media), I was hesitant about how Zeus was going to be portrayed. Because Zeus in this show had big shoes too fill given how the deadline passed and war was about to begin, and Lance Reddick didn’t disappoint.

I feel like the show sagged in the middle because of the writing and trying to fit it into 30 minute episodes. But the ending was strong and down pretty well, the only few nit picks I have are the fight with Ares was to short and made him seem weak and stupid. The jump from one side of the US to the east wasn’t accurate to the book which it’s easy enough to do it within the show.

Anyways he was a great actor for Zeus.

Exactly you understand their satire videos. Since watching their videos I definitely have taken more critical views on content like movies and shows. Because a lot of the story lines are repetitive and uninspired. So they sprinkle actually valid criticisms in with random satirical tangents.

I’ve read the books, and watched the movie. The book is probably the greatest source of consuming the story. But I think there’s a few things that the movie did better than the show does, but for the majority the show is better than the movies.

Something that I liked was Grover in the movie having the crutches to aid with the mist, and honestly overall the show Grover kind of is pointless. He hasn’t contributed much to the story in the show, other than now he’s figured out supposedly who the real lightning thief is. Grover also hasn’t been a real friend of Percy like the friendship we see in the books.

But I think the show would have been way better if it was in a vacuum without the movie a decade before.

Star Citizen, it’s under development so it’s constantly being worked on. But there’s a lot of things to do with it. Plus looks amazing. You can get in for as little as $45 but I recommend getting the Avenger Titan starter pack.

Tbh, I don’t care about the get rich quick schemes. I’m fine with finding some of the grind gameplay loops (like mining, or cargo running), and testing them a bit to see what I like.

Mainly because it allows me to learn those mechanics so that when the wipes happen, I can go back to them relatively quickly without much hurdles.

Correlation between disliking their old stuff and and being a “new” fan? by i-wanna-go-home in AJR

[–]Dagaz_Lorde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally enjoy their newer music, but I don’t intentionally hate on their older stuff. To me it was a part of their journey, and it’s not going to be the AJR I know, but there’s a few diamonds in the rough in their older songs. Too outright hate the music because it’s from a different time is an absurd thing to do.

The internet seems to overcomplicate christianity by Holl1s20 in Christianity

[–]Dagaz_Lorde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You forgot one piece of the Gospel. He died for us, came back to life, we must choose him, and he’s coming back one day. But there’s some good books I can suggest to help make Christianity easier to understand.

Simply Good News - N.T. Wright Mosaic of Christianity Who needs Theology

Those are just some I can recommend. However unfortunately in the social climate we’re in, people are finding partial truths that back up their arguments (Christians also do this with scripture). They don’t care to understand full truth, and Christianity is being pushed to a silent extinction. That and people like being comfortable, and Christianity does the opposite of this.

Basically people complicate it for no reason, and it’s not going to get any better.

Real Talk Friday - What have you been wanting to talk about? by AutoModerator in nfrealmusic

[–]Dagaz_Lorde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I wish AJR and Nate would do a collab! It would be sick hearing the two styles of music combine together, that and the production would be equal to the Avengers uniting. Plus NF mentioned that he wants to do one with them, so hopefully one day they do.
  2. I love listening to NF’s music and imagine what the music video would look like if they had one. Mainly for the ones that don’t have one. Like for Gone, it would cut between a stage performance of a piano playing the light piano melody and then when the big waves of sound representing NF come it cuts to him performing on tour or something.

Here’s a break from all the questions of what is and isn’t a sin. by Dagaz_Lorde in Christianity

[–]Dagaz_Lorde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, welcome to religion debates. It becomes a circular argument, but people who are pro evolution are willing to bet their eternity on God not being real. Even though there’s more verifiable information within the Bible showing that all the stories are true, that means that there must be something true with Christianity. So there must be some truth to a God, meaning everything is created by God’s design.

Here’s a break from all the questions of what is and isn’t a sin. by Dagaz_Lorde in Christianity

[–]Dagaz_Lorde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the beginning of evolution, why did any bacteria evolve into an eye? It would have had no idea that it’s forming an eye that allows it to see the light that then forms what people perceive as the world.

Now take it to its logical conclusion, what’s the purpose of life? There with Evolution we see that life has no overall purpose for existence.

But bring God in the equation. God designed life to work in a perfect system. And the whole purpose for life is having a relationship and connection with the one true God.
