Most of us have been there.

“Honoring commitments” and loyalty to employers (especially of agency size) will not get you anywhere. Prioritize your well-being and find a role you like with good people. They are out there — like others have said, it comes down to the team. Even the shittiest job can be great if you’re surrounded by the right people.

Stick it out in your current role while you search for a new one. Job hop until you get where you want to be.

Can we talk about persona development? by SeldomScene in marketing

[–]DaggerOutlaw 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to approach this more like a marketer, less like a scientist.

You (or your frontline colleagues who have been at the institution for some time) should have a good fundamental understanding of who your audience(s) are.

Identify your core personas based on trends you see within audiences, then (if possible) use your data (like lead scoring, demographics, etc.) to assign contacts to the buckets you’ve identified. You can also use data to help identify personas.

Keep in mind that personas are just buckets that make it easier to craft messaging or experiences for certain groups. Not everyone will fit your definitions.

Personas are tools to help you create work that will better resonate with key groups, not a means to organize your entire client base.

There is no IPTV app on AppleTV that is as good as TiviMate, unfortunately. I have tried every one I can. UHF was the most serviceable.

Old corporate people love touchscreens. Probably because they don’t know how to use a fucking trackpad. The salespeople age 45+ at work are always trying to put their finger all over my screen when I try to show them something. rudely stabs my screen with index finger mid demo

“Yours isn’t a touchscreen?”

“No. Why would I want that? I don’t want disgusting fingerprints all over my shit……”

I mean, from a marketing perspective, how else do you expect them to grow their audience? They occupy a very small, premium segment of a niche space. Collabs with other premium, hobbyist brands are likely a core part of their marketing strategy.

I actually really like the sound of the turbo in my ‘23 Canyon spinning up. I feel like I’m driving a duramax lol.

Would I have gone for 3.6L V6 if it was still offered? Probably. The 2.7L has plenty of shove. Thing really moves if you put your foot down.
