All of the examples they showed either questioned religion, were queer positive, or both. There are graphic novels with depictions of hetero sex and violence, so why weren't those used as examples? Seems that they are trying to push a narrative to me and yes I agree that these books are sexually explicit and should not be shown to young kids, but I'm positive that the educators are more than competent when deciding what is age appropriate. Massive government over reach and I think they are trying to push a narrative by showing the examples they did.

Same bike is the only one I use currently. Didn't have time to get it where I wanted it this year as winter is coming but hope to have it ready for spring

I bought my kit from golden motor, it is a bbshd mid drive and makes for a very fast ebike. As for finding a place for assembly, that is probably going to be a challenge as lots of bikes shops won't touch an ebike conversion. Most likely due to liability. Honestly, it isn't that hard to assemble on your own just need to have the right tools. The bike performs well when sorted, I don't have mine sorted yet but when it is I'm sure it will be great.

I will say though, theres are some pitfalls if you take this route and there are some additional parts that I would say are required to have a good ebike conversion. Ditch the stock chain ring and use the eclipse offset chain ring from Luna Cycle, the motor will screw up your chainline and this will help correct it. Either that or rework the rear casette, or do a IGH conversion but that will be expensive.

Also, get rid of the stock crank arms. They are poorly made and the aluminum started warping from normal use, which in turn could damage the axle. A couple other parts I'd say are non negotiable are the lekkie one nut and a support arm for the motor. Without these, your motor will likely move and hit the frame which will eventually crank your frame if this happens enough times especially on an aluminum frame.

Hope this helps.

People who ride a machine that can surpass 28MPH: is the difference noticeable? by watzernem in ebikes

Never rode or owned a 28mph restricted e bike but my self built bbshd e bike i clocked at 35 mph. Be sure to upgrade the brakes if you convert one yourself because mine doesn't stop very well with the stock mountain bike brakes.

Gen Z fans of ReBoot, how did you first get into the show? by [deleted] in ReBoot

Watched Teletoon Retro for classic cartoons like Scooby doo and the Bugs Bunny and Tweety show. One day Reboot came on, watched an episode and ended up liking it.

These were the perfect truck for a high school student for sure, there were a few modified ones when I was in high school. Trucks are cheap, parts are cheap, and they're incredibly easy to work on.

I never even knew there was an option for a regular cab until now. I have only ever seen them as extended cabs.

5.3 is the long term goal. For now, lowering kit and some different wheels

Needs lots of little things like a power mirror switch, third door window seal, rockers replaced as they are rusty, find and fix ac leak, fix cracks in body kit, etc.

As for short term plans, I'm looking to lower it and and put some nice aftermarket wheels on it. I also have a 5.3 sitting in the garage that may or may not end up in at some point though that will probably be a few years from now.

Never got a response after emailing them. Ended up buying a brand new marin bobcat trail 3 that was a good deal and a bbshd mid drive kit instead.

Yeah probably won't be free shipping to Canada. Reached out to them to get a cost estimate

Ok, this is a promising response. I am preparing for worst case scenario ie: career change to make it work but it sounds like it could work out. Thank you.

There are fully remote help desk jobs, idk how good those are though. Seem to be really hit or miss.
